Poor Carl Sedar XD
Woot! You’re #5! And you could reach #4 by the weekend! Congrats.
Too late to switch to botany?
Aw, poor guy! He’s all, ‘a racoon feeding a human cookies? Weird..’. He continues walking, on to see a fox running from a squirrel! He probably thinks the balance is screwed up big time.
Not to mention that he’s in North America and is seeing red squirrels.

Worse than that, let me point you out:
– Raccoon using opposable thumbs with human like precision
– Raccoon can sit down supported with his back part of his body.
– Two animals are bipedal, squirrel can stand but can’t run with two legs, fox, can’t stand at all.
– The fox and squirrel are seen with hands, not paws, and opposable thumbs as well.
And now my fellow psychiatrist, we see here Mr. Carl Sedar is in fetal position in my consultation room, muttering random words and sentences like cookies, thumbs, bipedals, and everything I know is a lie. We afraid he have suicidal thoughts as he saying, as I quote:
“animals have opposable thumbs now the humanity is screwed!”
Case Study #213410002, subject name: Carl Sedar
Result: Plum Crazy Loco coo coo.
Treatment: Tell him to get another job away from animals…. like say…. English Literature?
So is Carl Sedar a well known person that my weak google-fu skill can’t find or is this a random name? Just curious.
BTW, just the other day I got done reading through the archives. I have to say this is a great comic and I am definately going to have to keep reading it.
… I thought the worst ten seconds of his life was when he discovered a new species of tree, but they had a typo while naming it. I mean, C is two full keys away from S. And because of the phonetic strangeness of C’s in English, he didn’t even realize it until he saw the plaque.
@ AckAckAck:
Ha ha ha thats too detail XD
the disasters of global warming
great comic, found it a few days ago and im LOVING it
Am i the only one to find amazing that Sandra can keep doing an “MMMM” noise with her mouth wide open? I sure can’t, it turns into a weird aaaaaaaaaaa sound :s
One man’s worst ten seconds is another man’s best.
@ AckAckAck:
It is a shame that the ranking system has been disabled, or I think your’s could find a spot in our top ranked posts list. Very well done.
But while we’ve lost something Sandra and Woo has gained something in the number of hits its been getting.
Am i a day behind? these strips are updated a day early for me!
You don’t need to be an ethologist to be confused about that XD’
The racoon could be some kind of circus-animal.
But if I’d see a Squirrel hunting a Fox I’d question my mental state too.
@ Nivarion:
Yep, I think the same. No gain without pain I guess :/
@ mura:
Not really hard to do, Open your mouth but keep the back of the tongue pressed to the roof of your mouth.
However I think that because sound travels slower than the written word, Sandra had Mmmmed and then opened her mouth to accept the cookie …. 🙂
Quiet “ur doin it wrong”, based on his face.
great strip. Extremelly well drawn, funny, and brings back some characters I was missing. Congratulations to the team.
I love this strip
@ Novil
MORE WOO PLEASE!
Apparently, “worst” can also mean “awesome”
…also, this comic is apparently a 1930s silent film reel… which is ALSO awesome.

Actually, we do have “red squirrels” in North America. We just don’t have European ones. NA’s don’t have the tasseled ears.
Dang, I want a raccoon friend that’ll feed me cookies! XD
Lol, awesome, just pure hilarity! I just had to comment.
I think this is my first time commenting, though I am a long term fan! XD
Another name for this strip, Carl Cedar a day in the life of sandra and woo.
@ AckAckAck:
And worst of all wait tell russia, and states like that hear about this oh *gulp* lets just say nuclear wars would have ALOT more soldiers knowing racoons can fire gu- never mind to graphic…
@ Moroni:

@ Bucc-i:
Ummm woo was the only charecter in the last strip and was in the first frame here what more could you want?!!?!?
@ Nivarion:
Thanks, the no voting system is alright, I love to put comments when something funny or creative cross my mind.
@ AckAckAck:

(i should have thought of it >:) oh and FYI racoons DO have opposable thumbs just not at human persision…..But they can hold objects like woo is doing just not sit up right…..and they can move there thumbs right just they wouldnt cuz there not that smart and they dont know that….
@novil:Excuse me this looks familier is this a monty python skit or a movie or somthing? just looks familier.. il google it.
lol, I thouhg for a minute it was Carl Sagan…
I know it does not have to do with the strip but here’s the fact on burma
1. The Military Govt of Burma managed to be in (their own rigged) democracy by naming themselves lion party and cut off power to those not vote for them.
2. Burma is second in the countries that like justin bieber (ironically the nation has small number of internet user.
P.S- I hate Justin Bieber. And I am a burmese.
@Mura Yeah, I noticed it too
@KeithB It’s not an “M” if you do that, it’s more of a long “ng”
@ KeithB:
Lol, I actually tried.
“I submit for your approval another tale from…
The Twilight Zone.”
Guys Guys settle down i realy just think she said mmmm THEN opened her mouth thats how comics work…..because it dosnt realy tell you when or how they say somthing they just TELL you they said that.. sheesh….either that or shes an alien……did anyone else notise shadow looks like he has a wing on the right to him or maybe it just a outline of a rock…
Poor guy, will he go crazy or just go back to study some more? XD
Racoon isn’t too bad. That could be seen as, “Impressive! She trained it well!”
The other moment should be the best in his life as he discovered not only completely new behaviour for a squirrel and a fox (the squirrel should be food by now), but also that the fox is bipedal. He should jump on that ASAP! He could become famous!
Tweety Food background! Yay! *Votes* …howling wolf? Come on! The comic JUST went Live, and I ALREADY missed the incentive? *Headdesk*
Why do i like the second panel so much? Also, that poor, poor, now probably crazy, person.
@ Icalasari:
well if you add up the odds…..it mostly happens like this the animal well show of an awesome trick,man/woman notices takes animal promises him to -do his awesome trick- the animal acts normal and walks of stadge now the man/woman either goes to jail or worse one of those rubber bounce houses and the animal laughing out the window and that pig guy comes to the screen and says:abee abubeee uhde -gasp- thats all folks! but hey thats just science for you and a siding note
abee abubeee uhde -gasp- thats all folks
Let’s stop worrying abut the fact that she says “MMMMMMM” with her mouth open, and start worrying that she is saying “MMMMMMM” in a silent movie!
@ Tfeth282:
sory Short Film dosnt always mean “silent”
@ Greek: Dumb, dumb me. Read things me! Read things.
Tfeth282 wrote:
Happens to me all the time did you know theres a new post?
I don’t blame him!
I am a native speaker, but I’m a kid so how would I know about ethologists?! You tell me.
You pretentious shit…
‘You just saw “The worst 10 seconds in the life of ethologist Carl Sedar”’ After reading the definition of ethologist, I can believe it. LOL.
Its almost as bad as a tiger living with a small human child!
