Character occurrence frequency 2011 to 2017

Here is a diagram that shows how often the main and supporting characters of Gaia appeared in each year. Note that there were only 28 pages in 2011. Due to the nature of the plot, 2017 saw an uneven distribution of the “screen time” for the major characters with only Ilias and Viviana appearing in a large number of pages. 2018 will see a much more even distribution again.

Number of new pages per year:

  • 2011: 27 + 1 cover
  • 2012: 95 + 1 cover
  • 2013: 84 + 2 covers
  • 2014: 99 + 1 cover
  • 2015: 101
  • 2016: 101 + 1 cover
  • 2017: 103 + 1 cover

Gaia must be one of few webcomic that updates more often with time. 2017 was the fourth year in a row with more published pages than in the respective previous year.
