I love this application of magic 😀 Instead of breaking the shields, just cast a new shield that disrupts the other ones and break that one instead!!! Genius.
Also note how Lilith says “Ragnald Solito described a similar effect…” The usage of the word “a similar” and not “the same” definitely seems to suggest (in addition to the context that comes just after this page) that Lilith just cooked up a novel method of dispelling shields.
