I like how we can clearly see that the hole does not go all the way through the wall.

We see the hole on an angle, so we’re looking at the side of the hole wall, not looking through the hole.

Looking carefully, I can see that you’re probably correct that it doesn’t go all the way, but I have to disagree about that being clear. I previously thought that we were seeing the other side of the wall, and the tip of her stick just barely reaching the end of the hole. Unfortunately, I didn’t originally stop to think about how short that stick is in comparison to the expected thickness of a prison wall, or how much different the lighting would be on the other side of the wall.

Back in TS-15 I asked how Lilith took many days gradually increasing the size of the hole without anybody outside noticing a big gaping hole in the prison wall. Novil replied, “The later page will show that the subsequent training holes don’t go the whole way through the wall.”
The fourth panel shows a straight-on shot of the practice hole without any of the outside scenery being seen.
