I wonder if, at this point, Ilias and the others have been given this information as well?
In TIS 27 we see Viviana refusing to reveal information on her birth to Ilias, but that was just the beginning. What now?
Viv could have just turned it on it’s side and tried drilling or shaving away the wood. An asymmetric spirit lock wouldn’t make the box invulnerable or self-destructable. The contents are what’s important.
Viviana is dropping in some heavy world lore. She has bigger concerns than running a band of outlaws.
Did anyone notice panel 6, the chin line crossing through Lillith’s thumb and finger? 🙂
@ Vicious Sand:
Obviously destroying the wood is not possible. The casket was probably highly protected even *before* Xardan added the lock: that is why they said approximately “first, we lock it, then we think about destroying it”. If the casket was originally easy to destroy, he would have cast a fireball on it and that would have been over in one minute. But he know he could not.
