All ya need is one panel 😀 😀 😀
This is a really complicated sentence. 😀 So your wingman ends your lifelong love by setting you up with a girl who likes you. Or is it your love interest tells you that maybe we should see other people? Or is it your one true love never realized you liked her in the first place? Or is it the upperclassman girl telling you that you never had a chance with her in such uncertain terms that she hopes you and the new girl will be very happy together? Or is she telling you that your chances with her are consigned to the dung heap, and that you might find someone your own type there?
It’s a beautiful page for Ilias to get his heart broken on.
His shock is the best part. One of the best bits between many other good ones you guys did. From the last two panels, how suddenly Lili turned, took Ilias’ hands, and told him, without feeling rushed. To how just shocked, of the “wait a girl has affections for me” and “… I expected something else” perhaps.
And then dwelling on the background, in all it’s shades of blue and black with the fireflies.
Just… I love it!
