All things considered this is a super memorable chapter in which a lot of things happen. I remember the pace felt painfully slow during the original run, but on a rerun the chapter’s pacing actually feels really nice (which is probably helped by the fact that I already know what’s going to happen and don’t have to spend weeks waiting in anticipation 😛 ).

That is very true. I remember finding this chapter very interesting and yet quite boring to read due to the slow publication rate.
I find it mush more enjoyable to re-read it now at a faster pace.
Pacing may not be everything, but it sure matters a lot.
