My guess is that Dyson is in that very first sphere at the very start. It would be logical to solve the first challenge first instead of just charging through it and thrashing around the cave…
Also, just noticed that… Dyson in a sphere, Dyson sphere (the sci-fi concept…) Is there a connection?

I’d assumed it was just your classic light spell. They ARE in a cave, after all, it would otherwise be pretty dark.
