Lilith had the long conversation with Eldor shown in the following chapter Monster during the previous night, which explains her piercing stare in the last panel.

I think you did a very good job at putting in context clues to where readers had a pretty good idea of what might have transpired, even though readers wouldn’t get the full picture until later.

They’re not even in the same house: that’s Lilith’s room. Somehow I never noticed this the first time around!
