[SPOILER] Click here to see my commentary for this page!
My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Two times I used “Udile” instead of “Gwalch” for Ryn’s family name and had to fix already published pages. “Udile” was Ryn’s family name in the concept stage of the comic. I later decided to use it for Ileasaar’s royal family instead.

Oh uh, the cops know their names! Random guards in another city in a random encounter on some random unchosen hill know their names. Now that’s a bad landing!
(Author’s Commentary) Wait, does that mean that Ryn has legally official ID saying that he’s a member of the royal family? No wonder he gets away with stuff.
@ Vicious Sand:
Why do you think any of this is random? They recognised the city as soon as they saw it. Perhaps it is their home city. The Itoriels are a wealthy merchant family, so Alissa might be sufficiently well known for police officers to be careful to not offend her unnecessarily.
@ Old Brit:
They were missing for weeks. As soon as they show up, a guard recognizes them within seconds. Any conversation is meant to find out the locations of their friends, and to take them all downtown. This is as fishy as it gets without there being “Junior assistant deputy” fake guards involved.
Of course, Novil and Pow don’t take the normal route, but that’s what makes this interesting.
@ Vicious Sand:
having now read the next page, it seems the guards were sort of expecting them, which suggests there was no randomness at all involved.
