Was there ever a definite answer as to what spell that was? Because there’s at least 4 possibilities- What the Tower did- or what Lilli did to the Tower. What Lilli and/or the Tower did to the underground city. Losing the Tree. Whatever happened to Baal. The bluestream mages just got the radar-bounce of Something and went “That’s too much, that’ll destroy the world!” and no-one ever looked further into that.
Well, back when we got to see her speech she says that she doesn’t know what it’s result would be, other than marking the end of the second age. What’s changed? What does she know that makes her so sure that this is going to be destruction of the world?
Can’t say I really trusted San when she made her declaration here. Feye we can trust, but the Dragon? This foreign king? We’re in the deep end of a plot that was set in motion, that we only vaguely grasp.
