My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Note how there’s already a little hole through Eldor’s illusion to the left of Lilith’s forefinger in the first panel. Such details make a comic look less static. In the first draft, the camera zoomed in on Lilith’s eyes in the last two panels. But that made her look too much like a completely deranged maniac, so I asked Powree to zoom out instead and make Lilith’s facial expression a bit more reserved.

This is a Bigger Concept moment for Gaia, and it works. It’s one of the best moments of the series. With Oakdale burnt down, there’s no answers! Is it gone? Is it all gone? Is the whole _world_ gone? Why can’t anyone smell smoke? How long ago was it? Is Eldor the Wanderer/Player from the Vault from Fallout and he’s gone way off story? Is the time suspension shield a Kill Lord British plan?
Priest Girl is probably waving and smiling to Lillith.
This was such an interesting moment. I was reminded of this page later on when I watched Avengers: Infinity War. The scene(s) where Thanos uses the Reality Stone, twice, to show a place before and after a complete devastation. The first time was a trick, if I remember correctly, where he made it look normal at first, and then revealed the devastation after the trap was sprung. The second was a reversal, where he was in the aftermath of a destroyed world, and showed to others with the Stone, what it used to look like before. Both times reminded me of this page.
