My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:When writing the story for Gaia, I didn’t think about anything as long and hard as I thought about what should happen to Ilias and Viviana in Greendew. For a long time, my plan was to make them new members of a small rebel group. But that wouldn’t have been very original.

Viv and Ilias are sort of in a small group of rebels. It’s just being run by Riker. It could be worse. Under Riker, they could have ended up being a group of restaurant reviewers, or thieves robbing all _other_ places in town. Or other chaotic acts to those hotels to drive customers to the Bottle hotel.
Guy hates everyone equally? When perfect balance is achieved, that is the easiest to upset for all directions lead to unbalance. Then it’s just a matter of tipping his disgruntleness against the guy they want affected.
