The shopkeeper doesn’t deserve what’s going on, but who does deserve to go against Viviana?
Who would trust Ryker with dynamite anyway? And what would he use it on?

I don’t believe the fate of the shopkeeper is ever shown, but it’s fair to assume he was compensated and rewarded post facto for this.
