I always questioned how they just recognize each other in an instant. There wasn’t anything memorable between the two from Viviana’s perspective. The hair color search the dragonman sent the woman’s party on was a fool’s errand from their perspective. Anyone can look like anyone when you start changing details. But now the action starts…

Weren’t there wanted posters of Viviana all around the country on account of her role as leader of the Shadowdancers? Any of the group members would absolutely recognize her on sight. And Viviana herself got a bad feeling from her earlier encounter with the group—it’s not entirely unrealistic that would make her remember them more. Some people are just better at remembering faces regardless.
@ BlackDragonSlayer:
Uneasy feels definitely encode memories with sharpness. And her memories of that day are… awful. A female wizard with long hair and a staff who took to some dislike of Vivi to set off her danger sense… that’s going into Vivi’s memory.
The wizard is face to face with the most wanted woman in Cania, by chance. The hair color at first encounter might have misled, but they had magic and they did study them out of curiosity and vague suspicion. Magic gives some of their chance encounters something for them to reference from, with pretty solid recall. These adventurers do it a couple times, and that’s where they start to piece together information on their end. There are also the recordings cast out in a public broadcast months ago, that probably aided in giving everyone a face to the name.
Well….sh#t.

Not to mention the fact that she’s openly wearing the Avaril, which seems to be pretty recognizable by a lot of people…
Now, this adventurer has made a lot of bold efforts about finding Viviana, but what’s she going to do when she is face to face?
