My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Describing the layout of the roof and finding reference photos for it was one of the most tedious tasks during the whole writing process for Gaia.

Ryker’s mother is not having a good day in panel one.
Maybe Viv and Ilias should have put something in the box. They didn’t close the skylight. There was a plan for putting a box over it, but was there any for pulling up the ladder?
I suppose that answers the question of whether things would have gone much better if VIviana had slammed the door on Ira.
I’m confused by the design decision of whoever built that house – it seems to be a skylight hatch that only provides light for the attic, not for a more commonly used room like the kitchen or living room. Plus there seems to be a board backing the ladder, which would mostly block the light when the ladder is in the “up” position.
