“I am the blood of heroes! Never mind that I am evil. I have to work for a living.” We never learn if Eldor ever had children. Or married. We don’t know when Eldor was born. He could have been born before the G/B conflict or many years after. We don’t know why the TSS is important to him, only that he wants it down- or one down. Or something. If Gaia and Baal are both able to cast spells, would they have been able to cast a TSS or break a TSS? Who cast the TSS?
What does the energy density of Greendew have to do with anything? Are geological variations normal or not? Did the Illusion Village run off the free occurring energy of one of the streams? Did San’s attack spell mess that up? If there was a spell that redirects the natural energy of an area, could it be used to cast a low-power zap spell whenever it was charged up? How long until that breaks the thing that it’s zapping, like a shield of some sort? Could Eldor have been doing the hasty, costly, version of a “bring down the TSS plan”?
@ HKMaly:
“Who cast the TSS?” Sorry, I mistyped that. It should be “Who could teach to cast the TSS?” Long story short and all, since advanced modern spells impossible to cast back then are all overrun by the TSS spell- or the other unknown spells in the Yellow Book.
The Reto Book is cause for concern. Finding unequal physics means finding a place that one can use to make physics be even more unequal.

I’m pretty sure Isaac developed that spell. Isn’t the Yellow Book WRITTEN by Isaac?
@ HKMaly:
Anything that Lillith does that other magicians hadn’t already heard of, would likely be contributed to Lillith. The Yellow Book was written down or compiled by Issac. It just doesn’t get explored. Gaia may have other tricks to share, but that isn’t focused on. If the Source is behind the door in the crystal fortress hideout, and Eldor was there for that broadcast, then why doesn’t he take Lillith to the source now to drop the TSS instead of this thing with the spirit orb?

Isaac. See two pages back.

It’s not important it’s Greendew. What’s important is that Bhaalstream being somewhere was normal. Something boring, not cause of concern.
