Kind of makes me wonder if there’s some degree of system shock to such a transfer. Does it take him a bit to re-adjust? Has he done this before? When he tackled Lilith to the ground to protect her from the explosion, was he still Sandril, or did Eldor have some part in wanting to save her too? (If only in the form of not wanting to see a useful asset blown up before he has verified that he’s gotten all of the required energy out…)
I am a bit surprised that he’d just announce it immediately like that. I would have expected that he might be vulnerable or concerned for his safety right now. After all, someone did just kill him. Sure, they probably don’t want to kill their friend just to kill Eldor, but does he really want to bet his existence on it?
@ Zitchas:
We see the “red mist” coming into Sandril at the very moment Sandril tackled Lilith to the ground. So at this point, the tackling is done by Sandril.
After that, Eldor seems to take over, clearly.
I can imagine that being killed hurts. Switching bodies might hurt too, or at least confuse.
Also since Eldor does not like when things don’t go according to plans, he is very, very annoyed. He clearly looses his temper here.
Trying to “act” as Sandril requires knowing what to do, be a good impersonator, and being in a reasonably clear state of mind.
I can understand that he can’t/does not want to do that right now.
At least it didn’t happen to Lillith. She has enough to put up with. Sandril has always been a surplus game piece though. Having a bodyjump spell is very dangerous. There’s never any guarantee that ‘you’ don’t go away if Body falls asleep. And how does one make sure that every memory made the jump?
Well, that’s a fun development.

Well, SPOILERS for first time readers, but…
there’s a reason Lilith had Sandril do this.
