My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:I had the scene of Viviana attacking Bahamut in my head for years before finally writing the script for the last pages of this chapter. Putting poems or songs into a comic is often problematic, but I’m of the opinion that it works reasonably well in this instance.

I knew it! In the last page I just felt that things were getting weird. They didn’t look like people leaning on each other, providing some comfort, singing a song amidst the destruction; although it started out that way. It looked like it started out with that, then changed into something else.
My guess is that Viviana’s and Lilith’s connection enabled Lilith to tap her to do her spellcasting. The bluespirit lines could be coming from Viviana, or they could just be something radiating off the hands that just happens to line up with Viviana. It is hard to tell. Maybe it was pre-orchestrated with an imprint of the song and the urge to humm a bit of it to trigger some co-operative casting; maybe it just happened. I wish I had time to see if that song has come up before. I think it has, but I’m not sure. I also wish I knew more of the story and what was happening.
In any case, I’m eagerly awaiting every update, and loving the action. I really like how well Viviana and Lilith work together.
And, of course, really looking forward to what our flying shadowdancer guild leader is going to do with that rainbow blade and a rampaging magic dragon…
I can relate to have a specific scene in your head for a while. Finally being able to bring it to life is a great feeling!
