Ah, poor San… You’ve got a live one, there. Your Queen isn’t going to play by the rules… and the people will love her for it. But you and everyone else that are used to rulers behaving a certain predictable way are probably going to be needing to brace yourselves… Not following the speech is risky, but it is also endearing. Gives a feeling of speaking from the heart. And entirely possible that it generates some humor with the audience, too.
I’m on the edge of my seat, and what she has to say *doesn’t* affect the course of my life. I can only imagine what the in-world audience is feeling…
San, as heroic as you may otherwise be, this here is exactly the reason why nobody likes you.
