   Do we ever find out if that thing that goes ‘ping’ times the thing that happens, or cause the thing that happens? It couldn’t possibly detect the thing that happens in the last panel, because that would detect the whole complex, where Eldor is staying.

   Today has been a day of ups and downs for Elder. Problems with the magical capabilities of his new body, but satisfaction at getting the personalization just right again. Surprise happiness that a kind-of-antagonist surprisingly has accepted his statements as truth and sounds almost like agreeing with him… And then flips around with a “it doesn’t matter, we must stop him at all costs.” And now an alarm that sounds kind of important, and right on the verge of likely success…

   I know I’ve said it before, but I love the writing and development for Eldor. I still want Viviana and Lilith & friends to win, but I’ll feel a degree of empathy for Elder all the way to the end.

   I really wish I could read more of the (former) King’s thoughts here. He obviously sees something of interest or value in the way Viviana’s speech is going. He isn’t acting like all the other people whose religious dogma has just been given a sound shaking. I wonder if he’s already figured out (or at least, thinks he has figured out) where she is going with this…

   I actually think that the thing that goes ‘ping’ is communication device and it sorta DOES cause the thing which raised alarm to Eldor.

   He definitely follows what Viviana is doing better than lot of others (including San) and admires it.
