My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Ryn’s fall through the Source in the fourth panel would have been a perfect cliffhanger at the end of the page. But that would have required adding unnecessary filler panels before it.
Like many readers, the heroes are surprised that a person simply falls through the Source, which is said to be protected by the world’s most powerful barrier. However, such an action has no ill effect on the Source, and so the time suspension shield doesn’t do anything. In the same manner, the target person of almost any protection shield can still eat and breathe.

Gosh, shouldn’t Ryn have been oh I don’t know, suspended in time, or maybe bounced off of the time suspension shield? Looks to me like it’s not in the Source, then. As a consolation prize, I’m sure that there’s a Historian’s Society somewhere that will want to stuff and mount Ryn for being the first
boneheadhuman to fall through the Source of all Power, the place where souls return to, etc etc.@ Vicious Sand:
…read the blurb?
@ Icarus:
The blurb doesn’t change a “plotline that goes nowhere” problem.
@ Icarus:
No no, let him keep going, this will be humorous tomorrow.
