My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Finally reconnected with her entrapped soul, Lilith is suddenly able to see the future in a much clearer way. Getting her hands on the Soul Sphere before Eldor was therefore an essential part of her plan.

Ryn does something important. Sure, he had to throw the football player at the ball, but at least he Did The Thing.
OK, Lillith, there may be some minor undressing but that soul needs to get reinstalled. She seems to be doing Ok without it though. There’s no real proof that that’s Lillith’s soul ball, though. It could be one of Eldor’s other trainees. I wonder what else is in the Source? Lost change? Lost car keys? Socks?
So he fell through the source, and while falling, by pure luck grabbed the soul sphere that was conveniently within his path?
@ NaN:
Presumably the right soul sphere, and not someone else’s soul sphere, like San’s soul sphere.
@ NaN:
The soul sphere was made by Eldor, I doubt there was another one in it.
As for Ryn grabbing it, I think the sphere was just “hanging” in there without being glued, Ryn fell on it and grabbed it by reflex.
@ Vicious Sand:
This IS San’s soul sphere. At least, this is the sphere Eldor put in, then pulled out of San, then extracted Lili’s soul into (starting WBH 171). People’s souls are usually not orbs.
My theory for why Malva wasn’t allowed to join the party and was forced to ride home on dragonback:
She would have stopped Ryn from approaching the source (Like Vivi stopped Ilias), they would never have found the source and the world lines would have faded right here as a result. 😀

My theory is that she would prevent the group going tired, thirsty and desperate few pages from now.
@ Zarylo:
Mine is that her presence would mean Lilith having to make one more clone back in the shadow realm, and that would have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. Heck, in this continuity it half-broke and caused a casualty already.
