My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:I considered showing the friends’ struggle for survival in more detail. But I came to the conclusion that Lilith had no reason to let her friends suffer more than necessary and so I let her put sleep spells on them instead.

I wonder what would have happened if Lilith did not trap them here.
She obviously knows that it would have turned “bad”, but how bad exactly? What would Eldor have done? Would he have killed everyone to get to the sphere? Would he have tried to set up his special program without the soul sphere and that would have destroyed the world?

I’m fairly sure that at this point Eldor is still much stronger than Lilith, not to mention that his flying tower is basically a miniature Death Star and he has the backing of Bhaal to certain extents. He’d probably still win the inevitable battle for the sphere despite everyone’s best efforts.
