My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:Lilith is in better shape than her friends. I considered showing her using spells to summon food and water for herself. But I decided against it since there was no good spot for the additional page and it would have slowed down the action too much. Only Eldor enters the Sanctuary. Kali and Eldor’s other helpers are therefore safe from the dangers of looking at the Source.

So if some theories are correct, then Eldor is in the same room as the time suspension shield, and the person who can open it, and he doesn’t have her open it. There are entire plotlines about this, forward and back from this moment, and Eldor’s only worried about the soul sphere? Which he already used in the castle tower on Tree Day, btw. So there should be no reason for some of the things about to happen, because he already Did The Thing, but no, so this means there’s no denying that his goal changes. Was it not dramatic enough? I thought the tower events and the dragon fight were pretty good!
He didn’t ‘use’ the sphere. All he has done so far back then was to create a fully primed sphere which he would use as ammo for his shield-destroying machine. Hence when it got lost he had to scramble to get it back because otherwise all he has in his tower is a fancy railgun with no ammo.
“The soul sphere of a person who knows how to cast this particular, normally unattainable forbidden spell.” being the required ammo.
I was wondering if Lili could summon some food and water.
But she would have felt horribly guilty (even more).
Plus, I’m pretty sure Eldor is able to guess that she and her friends are in bad shape. He used to be a healer after all, a quick “magic health check” would confirm that they are dehydrated. If they were just “faking” to die, he would have spotted it quickly.
So Lili knew they had to be nearly close to death, and that she also had to be very weak for her plan to work. Hard choice.
