My comment for this page from Gaia: sic mundus creatus est:This is Viviana’s summer palace in Heyselfall. The creature’s design was mainly inspired by red pandas, not raccoons. Since spirit is such a limited resource on Gaia, Lilith can’t simply create millions of specimens of the same species without harming the natural balance.

Vivi’s legs have healed?
Woo with stripes, and things.
@ thysi:
I don’t know how I missed this the first time!
Mass production of pandacoons is not possible at this time. They’ll have to do the old fashioned way- breeding. I wonder if the species compatibility is limited to pandas and raccoons? Pomeranians, squirrels, otters… birds?
And yes, Viviana’s legs have healed. As seen in The Last Queen Of Gaia 008 the cut was above the knee and below the knee, so the stockings would only hide one of them- but it sticks with the later pages. So it could just be a artist error instead of a happy ending but who would believe that?
@ Vicious Sand:
It’s not an art error: the legs are shown throughout the chapter this way. Her legs are healed: one of the many small fixes from Lilith’s spell.
At this point Lilith is pretty much a god, so it won’t be far fetched to assume that she can magically regrow the limbs of amputees. Either it is a cakewalk or still a big endeavor remains to be seen.
In fact, Lili’s powers must be similar (surely superior) to Eldor’s. Eldor could manipulate the Source to model his magic-machines (i.e., Lili, San, Vivi by accident), Lili is doing more or less the same. It is also clear now that Eldor had the three tears of Gaia, not merged with his soul like Lili but at the end of the day at his disposal. Eldor healed broken bones in minutes. The point here now is if Lili is near-immortal like him.

Even that wouldn’t work. With fixed amount of spirit, what you use inside these creatures will be unavailable for other species.
@ thysi:
At this point, Lilith has essentially become a god. She can easily create fitting limbs and … well you will see on the next page.

I don’t recall it ever being stated how Viviana’s legs were healed. I always assumed healing mages had done it.
What was never clear to me was whether Viviana’s legs were fully restored (human flesh and bone) or whether these are just more lifelike golem limbs. To look like this they would have to be more cosmetically perfect than any prosthetic used in our world, but the Lilith golem was lifelike enough to fool people, so why not a leg?
That said, I would like to think that Viviana has complete legs again. Novil?
