I wanted Lauro to say “I’m gonna miss you, buddy” in the fourth panel. But there was no way to place the word bubbles that made it totally clear that it’s Lauro’s line and not Tibor’s. So to avoid confusion, I had to replace “buddy” with “Tibor”.
- Scarlet: Cold! Cold! Cold!
- Woman: I’m sorry, but it isn’t going to work out between us. You’re just not my type.
- Tibor: The Ministry of the Interior wrote back that we should no longer bother them with such nonsense.
- Scarlet: Nonsense…
- Lauro: I’m gonna miss you, buddy.
- Tibor: Good luck in Oris, Lauro.
- Scarlet: Mom, Dad, I read a super interesting book about mechanical engineering today.
- Tibor: Firebeets got even more expensive?!
- Merchant: The harvest in the Silver Valley turned out even worse than expected.

She is growing, but not significantly, so I’d give this time skip a full year.

I’d say 2-3 years. Maybe even 4 if those smaller panel bars leading into the first full panel are meant to each signify a year passing.

I agree with Calde. In table 13, she was six years old. Now she is not only taller, but slimmer, no more childish chubbiness (panel 3). I’d say he’s approaching puberty.

Novil, if you’re looking to make the panel 4 dialog sound more chummy while still making it clear who’s saying what, I have two alternative suggestions:
Option A: Give Lauro two lines instead of one (“So long, Tibor. I’m gonna miss you, buddy.”)
Option B: Leave Lauro’s dialog unchanged, and update Tibor’s instead (“Good luck in Oris, buddy.”)

The second speech bubble could point to either of the two.
