So build a high wall, higher than their watchtowers, far away from your intended target, have lots of vehicles coming and going (they can be empty, just decoys), lots of dummy soldiers; then when the Grondar armies start massing at that point, a small expeditionary force in appropriate camouflage slips out and heads for the target. Just need to work out what to target.
Or steal the old tactic from WWI. Undermine them, fill the mine with things that go boom. Wait till they gather huge army. Boom Lochnagar mine became the Lochnagar crater. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lochnagar_mine The problem was the Germans hadn’t massed enough troops there and the British got confused and shelled the crater they occupied.
She’s there already? Quick. There are of course ways through the tower line. However Scarlet’s going to throw the Grons into chaos, it’s the countermeasures that would stop Scarlet. Snow may drop visibility, but it is also perfect for caltrops, pitfalls, punji sticks, and bear traps. (Why bother with land mines?) Not to mention a clear trail to follow.
May everything be alright with Baby E!
So Scarlet had a good reason to think she can’t just sneak back into her hometown. This tight of a surveillance does seem overkill at first, but sabotage actions may be a bigger threat than an invasion from Grondor’s side. Grondor has many times Kirelia’s army, but there is implication that they have less food. If Kirelia sends an army, then Grondor just crushes it, but if Kirelia sends a few saboteurs to poison or otherwise destroy their crops, that could be really devastating for Grondor. As such, Grondor may be in a greater need of preventing a few people from sneaking in than to fortify against an invading army.
20 years since Sandra & Woo updated.
I walk through the empty archives, trying to think of something else, but my path always leads back to the site.
I stare at the homepage for hours, refreshing as if the Lord of Raccoons might post again.
I read other webcomics, but it’s no good.
I flame the Reddit threads and complain to my friends, but my fire isn’t as strong as Larissa’s.
The end is near — or maybe it already happened.
Sometimes I just open my anthology where Woo steals a sandwich or there’s silly biologist humor, and I laugh until I cry.
Then I cry until I laugh because I’m a climate scientist in america.
And I fall asleep whispering, “maybe next Monday.”

Two good news: the story continues and hence the baby must be better! 😊

She should definitely follow up on that thought. Could be helpful 😉

Run the enemies troops ragged to undermine their morale and drive up cost for the enemy?
Turrosh Mak
Security is tight enough that they blindfolded her before allowing her into the fort.

Ohh, nice catch! I didn’t even notice it.
In that case, that police officer must have really pulled a lot of influence to even get her there.
