Well, we know from the beginning (TMES#003) that Scarled is a very hard worker! ✔
He’s 14 now and has no problem getting a job, unlike five years ago (SFOS#024).
And there aren’t many jobs for bodyguards in the town in peacefull times. 👮♀️

I think she’s 15 now. In MG#013 she was 13 (as 7 years ago she was 6). Then there was a winter in MG#025 panel 3, then summer again (panel 4), then a second winter in MG#029-031.

That would mean that the whole year has passed in a few panels. Not likely. I think it’s the same winter, from MG#013 to panels 3 and 4 here, where it’s snowing.
And then, panel 5 shows that spring has arrived. The farmers need extra workers for spring work. After that, Scarlet is working in an industrial plant.
A year has passed since Scarlet and Tibor returned to Samaris and discovered that Julius had died. She’s raising money to print brochures or leaflets.

I don’t think it’s snowing in panels 3-4 of this page, that must be some specks on the wall. Panel 2 doesn’t show any snow.
I count the seasons like this:
The year Scarlet arrived to Kirkiok:
MG#011-013 – there are green leaves on trees, so it’s spring or summer. Still the same year as the spring shown in SFOS#085.
MG#015 – “one week later” – the leaves are yellow now, which means the autumn. This also means MG#011-013 were in late summer.
MG#022-023 – leaves are still yellow – still the same autumn.
MG#025 panel 2 – leaves are falling, so it’s late autumn.
MG#025 panel 3 – snow, the winter began.
Scarlet’s 2nd year in Kirkiok:
MG#025 panel 4 – the leaves are green again – spring or summer.
MG#029-031 – snow – winter.
Scarlet’s 3rd year in Kirkiok:
MG#035-036 – green leaves – spring or summer.

No one can beet her! Though I wonder what she does in the workshop. It looks like she trims or skins wires for use in mechanical components. They must have some mechanization somewhere. We haven’t seen a lot of it, due to the excessive naturalist-footing of the Lavarel peoples. Ceiling fans, blenders, light fixtures, doorbells, frying pans, water heaters, all require insulated wires somewhere. As well as other parts, like heating elements. There’s a lot things being done old-style (in ALL meanings of the words!) in places like Pakistan. All high tech still involves low-tech steps before it. But can confirm: proper, honest work is such a drag! But at least Scarlet’s got a plan!

We know there are magically powered road vehicles, but they are expensive, so rare (or rare, so expensive?)
The fire behind Scarlet in the last panel implies a forge or foundry, but she’s working on the end of a length of flexible wire, or string. Doesn’t really seem related.
