Hey Novil, I’m realy sorry I’m bothering you like this, but I’ve send you an e-mail concerning some problems I had when donating. Just in case you missed it.(sorry)
Sandra, the dress is pretty, but you make it beautiful 😀 (sappy I know). Anyway, don’t be so touchy about a compliment. Poor Woo, that would never happen to you the forest (I think).

I hope this doesn’t end before we get to Cloud, because he’s probably gonna get stuck in the worst trap when it comes to this kind of thing.
That trap being when Sandra asks if she is prettier then another girl…

Actually, I’m thinking that she knows he’s probably the only racoon in town that got nothing during mating season. So, if someone who’s bad at dates says something is good, you avoid it. It’s like the weatherman joke: if the weatherman predicts sun, take a raincoat.
Oh, that’s SUCH a common guy mistake, right there. Will we ever learn?
…I’m not sure that’s the kind of thing Woo would mention to Sandra, Frank.
Me, I have experience with women as friends and acquaintances but I’ve never had experience with a woman in a love-cross relationship. How I complement women is that I just say something about them is nice, if they ask questions about it, I calmly explain myself. If they get picky about it, I just abandon the complement altogether and either start conversation from a different angle or leave them to what they’re doing. I’m pretty sure this strategy won’t work in a serious love-cross relationship so I’m pretty sure I have nothing to offer except a headache.
How about if she was fat or/and ugly and the dress was the only thing that was pretty? It would have been an insult to both honesty and the dress itself if we lied there!

But I think that’s a common problem between men and women (it’s obvious, isn’t it?)
They want to look good so they dress different but they don’t want to hear that the dress looks good.
What happens then is a fight we men can’t win without a white lie.
Easy solution: Be yourself and dress as you like and not just as others excpect.
But this solution is “killed” by our society… again!

I didn’t get the joke until I read the first comment. Pretty funny once I realized! But then I thought some more, and it really is a compliment. It implies that she has good taste in clothing. I would always be happy to hear my clothing complimented. I think that’s why I didn’t get the joke at first.
Girl: “Oh I love your dress, it looks so good on you.”
Guy: “Dude. Cool Shirt.”

“Wow, your dress is really pretty,” is a good compliment, but when she’s feeling insecure, a better one would be, “Wow, you really bring out the best in that dress!” An even better thing to do when a girl is feeling insecure is to just avoid them and hang out in the woods. He should just thank the gods that she’s too young for a particular monthly problem.

I once was very cross, like Sandra is now. A good, swift street fight cured that mind numbing anger really quickly. Maybe, she needs to take up boxing for a bit, or something.
I’ve been trying to figure out what the problem is since Monday, I’m glad that I checked the comments because I was COMPLETELY oblivious! Esp important since I just started dating for the first time in about 2 years, guess my suaveness is rusty.
Girls, you should go naked. You’ll get more compliments than you know how to handle, and you’ll avoid being complimented on your dress. Simple.

I am honestly surprised no one ever figured it out. Woo is holding up his left arm/hand. Thus he is giving her (in Sandra’s eyes) “A left handed compliment.” For those unfamiliar with the phrase it’s a snide remark/comment that sounds sincere.
One thing I don’t like about girls is that you have be VERY careful about what you say and tread lightly around every subject.
Long gone are the days when I treat lightly around girls’ feelings.
I simply am not willing to participate in asinine no-win scenarios any more.

If she is going to be insulted no matter what… better to just come out and insult her from the get-go. She gets the insult she is looking for, and you get the result you aimed for. Pyrrhic victories all round.

(I know only a minority of women are like this, but I can’t get why there are as many as there are. It seems like it would be one of the most boring games imaginable)
