- Sandra: But I have to admit that Larisa’s a better kisser.
- Cloud: She’s got much more practice, I guess.
- Sandra: That may well be. I read that you need 10,000 hours of practice to become a true expert in something.
- Cloud: Wow, that’s a lot of kissing.
- Sandra: Then better let’s work our way through a couple of lessons just now.

Generally girls are better kissers because most boys try to rush past it instead of paying attention and enjoying it.
I’m not so sure one can claim expert status with only 21/2 years of of practice. Because, assuming a reasonable amount of ones daily life has being dedicated to, knowledge of, a specific subject doesn’t equal comprehension. After all, one can argue the knowledge of practical application is far more rewarding than practice. Furthermore, as a matter of fact, it takes less time to master practical application and it is far less limiting. Granted, repetition has been known to condition a response. However, ultimately, it makes it easier for people trained in automated response. In other words, the only reason for practice is not to make perfect, but to make mindless, thoughtless, obedient, robots who see things in binary terms of good or bad, right and wrong, inferior or superior. I weep for anyone who has limited themselves with absolutes or thinks they have control over the actions of others when all they know are the codes to motivate through violent language or conditioned responses. It’s truely pathetic when one thinks consistency is the key to anything other than misery and unhappiness. Ironically, noticing patterns of thought or behavior is inevitable, mostly because people have been conditioned to look for them.
Yes, you love each other. Shouldn’t getting back to civilization be your highest priority? Not making out with someone you’re likely to just dump in a few years? Rememebr the hungry, pissed off wolves?
