Larisa’s a Chaotic Neutral, not an Evil Chaotic! She doesn’t hate pretty and bright happy stuff, even though she doesn’t like it that much either.
So, does this mean Larisa will earn money?
As short lived as the joke might be, an art war would be pretty cool. XD
Go Ivan’s Demons!
You know when Larissa drew a happy sun in Ivan’s painting, the painting ended being a thousand times more depressing and sadistic.
And when Ivan puts his “touch” in Larissa´s painting then It ended million times more cute…
There is a deep philosophical meaning in all this.
Dueling paintbrushes!!! but where are the skeleton’s supposed wings if that was to be a fairy that was hanged? either way, the cuteness meter just broke from an overabundance of adorableness. Those two really need to sit down and discuss their art as a means of bonding, after all it happened before with a father-daughter painting team, the Bonheurs.
One of the best arcs ever!
Probably because I spent most of my childhood and teenage years attending art courses on the local art school. I did not pursue that career, because I’m not enough of an artist for that, but I’m enough of an artist to appreciate this. 🙂
It’s demons. Last time I checked, demons make people do things they don’t want to. That may be why Larisa draws flowers and bunnies! 😮
Ha ha! Payback! XD Love the artist prank war.
Damn, not only did he fit it perfectly, he did it quick too! how long do you think it to reach into that drawer?
.

.
damn, i wish i could paint like that….
That is actually a pretty badass painting.. I’d buy it and put in on my wall if I could.
Hey she was ASKIN for it. XD
BTW it’s funny to see Larisa’s artistic side. Can’t really remember seeign that before. 🙂
@ Nick/Tyrong:
Larisa comes from a family of painters, being able to paint kind of makes sense. She is driven to live as fast and hard as she can, possibly due to impending death. She has no fear of death or awkwardness as a result. That makes her seem like a master of the social scene.
Cloud was raised by two parents slightly detatched from reality that want their kids to become awesome video game character, one of whom was involved in extensive guerilla warfare. (Which may be a reason escapism is so important to her, apart from comedic value to the comic.) He’s been training to beat the ever-loving snot out of rodents, people, and giant monsters since he could walk.
Sandra’s kind of bright for her age, like I was. Like my brother was. Like my cousins are. Like a lot of kids are.
So basically the three of them have one thing they’re good at, all of which make considerable sense in context and even Cloud’s martial arts training isn’t exactly unusual for a child. I took Tae Kwan Do, for example. Apart from the plastic knife incident his skills aren’t even outlandish, a bloody 9 year old Jiu Justu student strangled a pit bull to death when it attacked him.
People failed to realize the paint has no color while the painting is colored.
I would buy a print of that painting.
Yet again… why does she insist on calling her father by his first name?
1) This made me laugh
2) The painting honestly looks really cool and I’d like a copy.
…I’m suddenly inspired to create a paradoxical work of art now.
What do you want to bet Larissa’s next work of art involves burning Ivan’s in some way?
@ WhiteTigerGinger:
When skeletons hang themselves, they descend into the horrifying world of life.
… just so you know, I would TOTALLY buy that painting! It’s awesome!! 😀
lolz
@ Passerby:
I have a new question> Why is it whenever I try sarcastic humor or perhaps even give some critisism of the comic, for example the stupidity of the Cloud/wolf fight, that I get continuous thumbs down? What, is it because I’m not kissing the comic’s ass? I’m not complaining, though I might sound as such, and if so I appologise. It’s not meant so (Sometimes I just come across as such. Hard to get tone through text), but it’s just something I’ve noticed.
I still like the painting.
Awesome comic. ^-~
My DEMON MAKES ME TROLL MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I want this painting!
Yeah ! Way to go, Ivan ! ^^
There, there, Larisa. The nice little skellington’s harmless. Besides, he’s just hanging out. (Oh, pish posh. Don’t tell me I’m the first one to think of that joke.)
@ FrankNW:
There I go again. I mean, “he or she’s” just hanging out.
people people! shes what 11 or 12? she is allowed to be a complex character she has a tendancy to be a “bad girl” but that does not mean shes immune to cute things that young girls are into. so yeah her art isnt a direct representative of what you see on the outside, and thats how art is supposed to be, it represents how you are on the inside.
Me encanto ese humor, muy bueno ja ja ja y los cuadros me gustaron ojala liberes el cuadro de las flores con el ahorcado pero como un JPG, me gustaría como WallPaper Muchas gracias
I find it funny how Ivan, who seems like a relatively normal and well adjusted guy, is almost compelled to draw sad, depressing artwork – while Larissa, who is far from normal and well adjusted, draws incredibly cheery works.
Ivan is a ninja.
Could you make prints of those two, especially the hanging one, and sell them online? I would love one.
Never have I seen Larisa so furious…
Looks like the work of… *puts on sunglasses* …Ivan the Terrible.
@ Deo:I know I’d love to have them both…
I wonder what would happen if Larisa’s and Ivan’s demons teamed up to collaborate on work…I’m fairly sure the result would shake the art world to the core and be amazing.
I’d buy it
I want that painting as my desktop backround 😀
Ahahaha! XD After the last one, this made me laugh so hard! XD Revenge is a dish best served with an excuse that blames demons… XD
Is it just me… or were both paintings significantly improved by the additions?
Isn’t catching up on a comic the best and worst thing all at the same time?@ OrphanDidgeridoo:
I’d actually buy a print of that.
@ Deo:
I second that, especially as something for a t-shirt design maybe? Or just as a picture would be cool
Lmao. But he’s in for it now.
hah, classy big brothers revenge, always funny.
AKA: Touche
Those two should work together. Cute art with creepy stuff hidden in it sells
