That must be the biggest Raccoon EVER.
(Also, Merry Christmas and stuff to those of us who are still in the midst of the 25th!)
That was faster if i was expected. I expected woo to show up when she was nice bath on talking on everything that can go wrong.
I’m still curious about where Woo is going to safe her.
Hey, it worked! But now I think one stressed-out raccoon is going to want to do something about the unexpected company!
Lily (whisper): Can you make her go away, sweetheart? She’s making my phobias kick in…
WELP! This sure made me feel even worse for celebrities who want to stay out of the spotlight but are followed and bothered by fans ….going out for a walk for a few is a disaster let alone sitting and wanting to relax…
♫ Woo and Lily, Sitting in a tree~
♪ M-A-T-I-N-G.
♫ First comes love, then comes the kits~
♪ Then comes Butterfly, scared out of her wits!
It actually worked. Didn’t see that coming!
Also, hope everyone had a great Christmas, and a happy new year to come. Just to ask, does everyone celebrate new year by singing the song Auld Lang Syne or is that just where I’m from?
At least they are Woo and Lilly. Woo can be a fanboy but at least he’s pretty reserved about it. So do Lily. Also if Woo and Butterfly start getting flirty with Butterfly Lily can do this:

I don’t think we’ve ever actually done that in my circle of acquaintances, though of course I’m familiar with that tradition. About the most we ever do is watch the ball drop on TV, maybe set off some fireworks, and maybe drink some champagne or something.
@ Xezlec:
Much different to where I’m from, everybody and their dog is getting drunk, fireworks, there’s singing, dances (Ceilidhs as they are known) and general craziness, it’s a really big thing. New Year’s Eve, we call it ‘Hogmanay’. Just curious to see how it is celebrated in different ways around the world, seems like a much quieter one where you live 🙂
Exactly who she needs to talk to now.
Also, Yay for Lily finding a crowd control solution.
It’s not exactly surprising that our main character (and sub-main character) would meet up with Butterfly.
Still, have to wonder if that big raccoon is in on the plot or not.
Probably should have informed the bodyguard about the plan.
@ Luke:
Given by your term “Ceilidhs,” I guess you’re from Ireland. (Google Translate’s Detect Language helped a lot with that.)
As for Xezlec, that sounds a lot like what my family does (except we have sparkling water, not champagne, and we only use sparklers) so I would guess that Xezlec is also in the United States.
Now everyone else can have a better idea of what part of the world does what.
I was a little puzzled but now it makes sense that since they’ve been given such grand seats they can just walk away from the crowd any time they wish
@ myth buster:
I think he was, he just made it look convincing.
@ Lucario:
Close! Scottish, the term Hogmanay is a solely Scottish term but Ceilidhs is a Gaelic word for dance used mutually between Scottish and Irish (I think that’s what ain’t means, anyway).
Haha, looks like Butterfly is not the only celebrity who wants some privacy at this gathering (=
@ Luke:
Well, I for my part am Swiss. From the German speaking part.
There’s different ways to go about the festivities here. What about all of them have in common is a glass of champagne, best wishes and some fireworks (which is why we usually go outside for the champagne, even if it’s just the balcony) at exactly twelve o’ clock. Usually followed by several minutes receiving and sending “Frohes Neues”-messages and phone calls. 😉
How you spend the time until and after pretty much depends on your preferences and the crowd you’re in. When I was a kid, me and my family usually did so with a nice dinner first and then playing a whole number of board and card games. Sometimes with the family only, sometimes with neighbours and friends. Nowadays, I usually hang with friends. Each bringing something to the party, drinks, snacks, sandwiches (which are usually my job), other food… And we still play games, watch movies and generally have a fun time.
@ Lukkai:
I should mention: Only the games now usually are video games or p&p rpgs.
@ Lukkai:
That sounds interesting! Really cool to know the different little traditions around the world 🙂
I still support my Tunnel idea !
“Get outta here, you freak! Wearing clothes? That’s just unheard of.”
My money is on Woo and Butterfly being related in some way.
Woo: Butterfly?
Butterfly: Cousin Woo?!?!
Ai Ai Ai, scared a little Butterfly…
When scanning an area, nobody ever looks up, do they?
