It’s incredible what you can build with Lego these days…
- David: The heat’s becoming unbearable!
- Ye Thuza: But we save a lot of heating oil this way.
- David: I don’t care! If she keeps going, she’ll eventually set the house on fire!
- Ye Thuza: All right. I’ll have a talk with her.
- Ye Thuza: Yuna! What did I say about cold fusion experiments in the dining room?!
- Yuna: Mommy! The correct term’s Low Energy Nuclear Reactions!

You are correct, the Legos WOULD melt
Cold fusion won’t work…according to the Lawson Criteria, Yuna would have to be heating her house at 4.7E7 Kelvins to achieve fusion ignition with a DT mixture.
Even if you could build a cold fusion initiator (fusion conditions achieved at less than 5000 degrees Celsius, ), an energy output sufficient to produce sustained fusion would certainly not be cold in any sense of the word.
Ye Thuza is clearly, therefore, hallucinating. She’s talking to a pile of Yuna’s ashes.
Cloud is going to be like Batman in the future, with Yuna helping to create his gadgets and build the family fortune. Sandra will become a highly honored mathematics professor, and Larissa a leading modern artist / eccentric individual. I kind of want to use a time machine to check on this comic ten years from now.
