- Larisa: What’s the cause of death?
- Zoey: Michelle voted for Taylor in the election.
- Larisa: Ouch.
- Larisa: Maybe she just thought that the job would bore you.
- Zoey: But I wanted to win!
- Zoey: If she can’t be my lover, then she should at least be my minion!
- Larisa: Just when I was starting to feel something like sympathy for you…

Ooops, that was actually an unexpected side of Zoey… I am with Larissa here…
So confirmed not in a relationship.
I’m with Larisa here.
Well now Zoey is deffinitelly getting MY sympathy.
However she should not be dettered, even Sheev Palpatine had to run multiple times for the office of marginal seats of backwatter planet… and lost few times… it takes time.
And thus she proves that she is not suitable for high office.
No wonder Sandra won. Tsk tsk.
Yeah, I feel a bit worse for Zoey now… who can resist the alure of minions?
On a side note, I can only access this comic via my RSS feed. When I hit lates from the site, I’m directed to yesterday’s comic, which doesn’t have a next button. Just fyi.
I feel like I should be poking someone with a stick to express my disappointment with this development.
😛 Why make Zoey sound like a standard disney villain in how she views her friends?

That proves she is the only one who is…
am I the only one that thinks that Larisa and Zoey are -exactly- the same kind of person? If the roles were reversed, they would act the same exact way.
Zelnik wrote:
I disagree. Larissa might be wild and eccentric and not always kind, but she has very high standards when it comes to loyalty and friendship. She sold her soul to the Devil to save Sandra, and think about what she did for Luna (including selling her flame-thrower). It is impossible to imagine Larissa bully someone like Luna, as Zoey did.

So.. You sound like a crotchety little ol’ man with a cane! 😉 🙂 🙂
Loved Larisa’s question in panel 1. 😛
@ Iron Ed:
Meh. Was more referring to what Larisa did in a previous page when she heard something she greatly disapproved of: http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2011/03/17/0254-positive-attitude/
But now you made me want a cane. 😛 Probably can’t pull off the cane look, but worth it to poke people to show my disapproval.
Aaaaand, now I’ve got Prince’s “I Wanna Be Your Lover” stuck in my head.
Damn… Possessiveness is not all that is to it… Love is about giving to begin with… Give everything and expect nothing in return, if both parties do that, it will be good…
Seriously are you wonder why she voted against you carry it Zoe Zoe easily you win in lectiones on 2 fronts Merritt and friends I think you’re lacking in both.
She looks very alive to me. LOL
@ Paeris Kiran:
Good, let the hatred flow through you. Use your aggressive tendencies. Give in to your anger.
What if Michelle had been one of Sandra’s 7 votes?
Zoey would then have something to be bitter about!
If Michelle HAD voted for Zoey then it would have been a draw – and I don’t fancy Zoey’s chances in a run-off poll.
Well Zoey could be an even bigger bi-atch about this Larisa.
I mean she could scream “homophobia” and say the election was biased. That’s about what this generation of Americans would do anyhow.
So wanting her best friend/sidekick/love interest to be a minion by contrast isn’t that bad. Face it, if you could you’d make Sandra and Cloud your minions too.
@ Raptorman76:
Pretty sure no one else knows that Zoey is a lesbian. So I can’t see her using that as a basis to an argument if she only told Larissa about it.
With minions, though….a little possessive, much?
@ Raptorman76:
Huh.
Wonder what the last generation of Americans did to gays.
Anywho, I don’t think anyone would argue that Zoey isn’t both somewhat conceited and rude, her character type is of being a popular girl in a popular girl clique which is a classic trope. This storyline might give her impetus to change that behavior and Larisa’s probably the best person to force that sort of change, since she’s not one to bow to that bs.
I forgot Zoey confided in Larisa

Exactly.
Zo, you givin’ us gay gals some bad rep, plez stahp.
Ewwwwwwwww, Zoey, don’t put your hair on the floor like that! You do realize how much dirt, dust, bacteria and fallen hair is there waiting to kill you, right?
We’re gonna need a shower scene after this.

…time and a pinch of Sith Alchemy to hide your extrreme Sith wrinkles.
This is exactly how I thought she would feel. After all two HAVE been together most of the comic, soif they can’t be TOGETHER together, then yeah she should at least back her friend. Even if Zoey calls her a minion, this is still a betreyal.

In the beggining all you need is control. Of course when you unleash almost everything you have to defend oneself against treasonous insurgents attempting to depose you without going through Senate first its something else
@ Osaru Sensei:
Zoe does have some redeeming features. For example she persuaded Michelle to help Larissa and her boyfriend get permission to date.
tfw I’ve been in similar situations to Zoey and can emphasize with her on that last part, in a way… :'(
Marteri wrote:
That just might be enough to get her into Heaven.
If only she wasn’t such a great succubus.
Larisa is kind here, but Zoey sounds like a stereotypical Disney villain.
Either she changes her ways or we have here The Birth of a Supervillain.

Wasn’t that the surprise twist at the end of the Constantine movie?
Aw so they’re not in a relationship after all? Poor Zoey
Raptorman76 wrote:
Well, she could, but it would be excessively stupid because no one but Larissa knows that Zoey is lesbian (Michelle might suspect, but doesn’t know for sure). Also, complaining that you lost an election on grounds of homophobia is rather pointless, since contrary to the regular field of employment, political elections and the like don’t have antidiscrimination rules, you are still free to vote or not to vote for a candidate based on whatever (maybe even petty or biased) reasons you wish.
No wonder there’s so much confusion about Zoey being a jerk. This comment section’s kinda steering into a sociopathic direction.
Although, do sociopaths feel sympathy for other sociopaths? I’m confused.
I think Zoey is getting close to my favorite character.

A shower scene, no I don’t think Larisa would go that far to console the dead.
just wanted to point out larissa’s casual slavsquatting.
Nice detail.
Larissa seems out of character here. She should be all “That’s the spirit. If you cannot win her, dominate her. Take what is rightfully yours in life!”
Nice to see that even though we’ve had an arc that made us more sympathetic towards Zoey, she is still Zoey.
Anyway, yeah she really is showing herself completely unsuitable for the job of class representative. Not that she would have much power as one anyway, but she should not have anything that even resembles leadership position.
I thought they did become lovers?!
Auuugh, I have no idea what Zoey’s continuity is now.
Sweet, sweet megalomania – even in death
When the girl with a job lined up as a demon says she’s lost sympathy for you, you know you’ve f*ed up.
Proves she’s wrong for the role and is probably a super villain in the making lol.
@ Zelnik:
Thought to comment about the same, but apparently it was already covered. Carry on. 😀
…ok, now I have a little less sympathy for Zoey. Still have some, but not quite as much.
Zoey comfirmed to be the greatest character of all time
I don’t think you know how this works, Zoey. The step below being your lover is graciously allowing you to be her minion.
