Teenage feelings don’t make sense……..until you plot them on a mathematical graph!
Zoey be tsundere.
I mean, the more you get to know a person, the more your feelings for them are allowed to grow, be it for the better or the worse. And if you realize that the person in question is someone you wouldn’t mind being together with, be it platonically or romantically, your frustration at seeing your relationship with them go no-where could very well start to grow. So it makes sense to me.
For that final graph to make sense, the first two graphs should have the same y-intercept as the final graph; otherwise, the resultant line would lie directly on the x-axis…

What about a Sandra + Zoey only option? I’ve been trying not to say this, but here I go. Cloud is kind of boring.

Actually it’s correct as is: it’s a ratio of the two values, so one is Y=ax and y=Bx. Divide the two and you get Y=A/B which is a constant. Technically it’s undefined at 0 since it would be dividing by zero, but if you substitute the limit, it becomes a continuous line.
If you had an intercept and a constant it wouldn’t cancel and would have some weird 1/x-ish behavior. If it were additive as they’re both positive, you’d either get y=0 or a straight inclined line.

So Zoe is reaching the “going to blow soon” limit of wanting to be with Sandra, or frustration over not being with Sandra, and she’s totally indifferent about which option she chooses? She’s going to damage the age rating when she snaps, and I want to see it happen.
It would probably work better if the first and third image would be switched.
…I’m not good enough at graphs to get how it makes sense.
@Osaru Since both graphs have the same gradient but describe oposing effects they cancel each other out.
@Sandra and zoe it is time to upgrade into the world beyond linear explenations! The world is more fun beyond it. I want to see Zoe’s feelings as fractals!

Romance + going to snap + I’m just going to ignore the problem= Zoey. And hopefully that will drive Zoey’s next actions to do something. I don’t know what she’s going to do, but it isn’t going to be doing crossword puzzles. Or tennis. Maybe strip tennis, that’s crazy enough.
