Artwork: Merry Christmas 2011!

Yuki Makimachi: Merry Christmas 2011

As part of our feature “commissioned artwork of our characters drawn by other talented artists”, the Indonesian artist Dewitri Virika (Yuki Makimachi) drew the picture you can see above. The Sandra and Woo team wishes you a merry Christmas! May you have as much fun as Sandra, Cloud, Yuna and Woo!

Supporters can download the image in its original size (2534 x 2944) and as a wallpaper on the special page for donators.

I’m open for suggestions for subjects that you’d like to see drawn in color. A new picture will be posted every second Saturday.

Poll results (Part 2 of 2)

Here is the second and last part of my presentation of the results of the polls running in the right sidebar of the Sandra and Woo website. The first part was posted on Sunday.

Poll Nr. 35

67% of our readers are between 15 and 23 years old, only 8% are 31 or older. This means that the average age is now even lower compared to the same poll from 22 June 2009 where 13% answered to be 31 or older.

Poll results (Part 1 of 2)

Since 4 September 2010, 14 different polls have been running on Sandra and Woo. All of them got several hundred votes and it’s time to present the results. Because of the large number of polls, there will be two separate news entries for it. The second one will be posted on Wednesday.

There are also four new poll which appear randomly in the right sidebar.

My personal list looks about the same. The treasure hunt story worked well overall and the next two stories contained some of the funniest strips.

Artwork: More Than This

Exarrdian: More Than This

As part of our feature “commissioned artwork of our characters drawn by other talented artists”, the Bulgarian artist Denny (Exarrdian) drew the picture you can see above. It is titled “More Than This” since it was inspired by the first verse of Vanessa Carlton’s epic song of the same name:

Cradling stones hold fire bright
As crickets call out to the moonlight
As you lean in to steal a kiss
I’ll never need more than this

Supporters can download the image in its original size (2000 x 1667) and an alternative version with different lighting on the special page for donators.
