The current story arc started with this strip: People Like You and Me.
It’s funny because it’s true: fennecs are full of energy.
- Sandra: Oh, aren’t you a cutie pie?
- Woman: NO! DON’T TOUCH HIM!
- Sandra: Great. Now I know what it feels like to have accidentally awakened a sleeping monster.

oops…
lol, she regrets that.
So, where’s Woo gone off to?
fennec foxes are cute. Like the squirrel fox in nausicaa!
odd, but hardly exotic…oh right the owners. nevermind.
Hey, looks good for shooting practice
*aims his double-barrel shotgun*
The little critter makes an excellent booby trap! =^^=
benben: I’m sure they were probably a good part of the inspiration, along with actual “fox squirrels” 😀
(which I didn’t believe were a real life animal for some time after I saw the film (and got the teto plushie*…), hehe)
*someone on ebay either makes or imports ’em, that’s about as good as i can do i’m afraid. ufo catchers?
Ah, but anything with a Fennec in is good. And this time I even learned something (though I doubt this outcome just a tiny little bit…)
I’m reminded of Men in Black… The scene with the super bouncy ball of doom that cause a black out. Yea… that thing.
Wow, I didn’t know fennec foxes were so squirrel-like in their craziness! I’ll have to take this into account when I include one in one of my comics. (main character, my icon, is part bat-eared fox, not fennec)
Also, nice styling of the sound effects. I especially like the broken-ness of the SNAP.
I actually love how the statue in the corner seems to have this irritated look on its face.
Oh man, I never knew those animals were so crazy. You gotta see it to believe it.
I love this comic by the way. The whole thing is terribly charming and Powree’s art just makes it all the more adorable. Keep it up, you two!
agreed, it is pro grade awesomeness. also: just saw the updated cast sheet. nice work too 🙂
i want a fennec now 😀 (though… yeah… probably never really would. They look like a helluva lot of work!)
*glares at Lax*
Shoot where else did I hear about a Fennec Fox… wasn’t there one in Kevin and Kell?
The weakest dog barks the loudest 🙂
Hah, love the reference at the end.
Fun fact: The Fennec Fox is the smallest member of Canidae family and the largest ear to body ratio of any fox.
ohmygosh I’ve never seen a live Fennec before those things are so ADORABLE!! AAAAAAAWWW!! 😀
Note to self: Never underestimate a fennec fox.
Fennec Foxes.
My greatest weakness.
The only thing guaranteed to turn me from a cynical, bitter, misanthropic bastard to a melted puddle of “d’AWWWW!!” in mere seconds.
I remember when I was at some zoo place in Nova Scotia with my ex-wife (which I only went to because she found out they had Fennec Foxes)… and as soon as I got there, I found the Fennecs and stayed with the Fennecs… leaving the others to wander around the rest of the place without me.
I then proceeded to stare at the beautiful little Fennecs for about two hours straight… shivering with barely restrained glee the whole time.
Sandra should count her blessings: at least it isn’t repeating “Yo quiero Taco Bell” over and over again.
Fennec
Fennekin
*muffled explosion*
Reminds me of the Monty Python Gilliamation where they pulled the pacifier out of the baby’s mouth.

? ? ? ?????????????????????? Me: WILL SOMEBODY SHUT THAT THING UP BEFORE I SNAP AND BURN EVERY–???????????????????????
Looking back to this page reminds me of Finnick from zootopia.
You generally shouldn’t wake something up that is high strung enough to only sleep on a pillow on a podium.
WHY would anyone keep a hyperactive animal in the house with a vase, chandelier and a bust?
There is a major part for fennics in Kevin and Kell.
