This reminds me of a scene from Tom and Jerry where they had just become friends and Tom gives Jerry a big kiss.
Then develops a taste for mouse and immediately tries to eat him.

That tells us that Heather was the one who gave Shadow and Sid their names (and the possibility to form a everduring friendchip 🙂 ).

Here is a story, about a little fox and a little squirrel, met in the reservation owned by Heather, their life got flipped, turned up side down, Sid got rescued and met with Shadow, and this is how they become the princes of bel-ai…. reservation.
And they live happily ever after, and Shadow got a family and Sid… still single, but happy, but still single.
I wounder if the woman who hit Sid’s mom hit Shadow’s mom…

Couldn’t agree more. Besides, an animal won’t atack if it’s not hungry – they’re not human beings, they kill to eat and dot. Shadow has plenty of food, thank you very much – you can see his bow full right besides him – so why would he kill Sid?
Who knows what Squees in the hears of squirrels. The Shadow knows!

Guys,Guys,Guys its so THERE what happend this comic is NOT tom and jerry I realy dont belive shadow was cleaning Sid’s fur its just screaming “Look closely”! Didnt anyone find it odd One second he squeeled the next he is just there? i think Shadow tried to eat him BUT Heather came in the room and He started licking make since? and another thing (If my ither theory is wrong) Anyone notice Heather was Surprised to see shadow in the cage? Yah Shadow snuck in well it was left open. And the thing that Cracks me up the most is the Food bowl..look REAL close at the label with TAPE on it…yah.
I’ve got the melody of a song from “The Fox and the Hound” stuck in my head, now. I do hope Sid and Shadow’s relationship never gets torn apart. :,)

I go along with the idea that they are now buddies; both too young to realize they are predator and prey. Makes me think Shadow was really just teasing when he tried to eat Sid several story arcs ago. 🙂 (…assuming memory isn’t playing me false! ;-))
