New poll: What is your all-time favorite story arc?
I have just added a new poll in the voting widget in the left sidebar: “What is your all-time favorite story arc?”
To keep things manageable, you can only select among the winners of previous polls about your favorite story arcs.
The following characters had the leading role in the listed story arcs:
- Larisa: 6 times
- Sandra: 2 times
- Cloud: 2 times
- Zoey: 1 time
I guess this makes Larisa the most popular character of our comic.
I would also like to encourage you to write something about your favorite story arc (which does not have to be from the provided list, of course) in the comment section of this post.
Can anyone else tell me where else a supporting character is more popular than the lead?
Come on, nothing could beat the Divine Comedy. Oh.. by the way, what was it about?
Poor Zoey, She can’t buy a win in any poll. Only fourth here.
Nah, who am I kidding #buttmonkey
I really like “Sandra & Co. go on a treasure hunt…” because it is has so many details and nuances and so much of the mix of the serious, the cute and the hilarious that I love with S&W. Just to mention a few: the various tales told to parents at the beginning, the bat, Larissa’s medication, the rats, Ye Thuza’s final twists, etc, etc. And together with the main theme of the arc, all of it forms such a lovely story.
My favorite arc has always been The Camping Trip. It was the one updating when I first started following the comic, and perhaps that’s why it holds a special place in my heart, but also because I feel it has some strong storytelling to it. You could probably show this arc to someone who doesn’t follow Sandra and Woo but they will understand the characters and their relationships almost immediately because of how well they are showcased throughout this arc. For people already attached to the comic, though? It really fortifies your love for all the characters, seeing the lengths Sandra would go to rescue Woo, and how much Woo loves Sandra and what he would face to be reunited with her. Or how much Sandra’s friends love and support her, going through that kind of adventure to rescue her weird pet raccoon? Or how badass Cloud is in this arc? Overall, it was a damn good arc and it got me hooked on the comic.
Could you please make it so you can click on the title of the story arc and be sent to the first comic in it? Please?

That would be nice, but it’s not possible technically.
I wish “Landon tutors Larisa” was an option. Larisa’s relationship with Landon is probably my favourite thing about the whole series. It’s sweet, likeable and full of comedy potential.
I’d have to say Butterfly climbing The Special One would be my favorite, and the arc where Woo and co. mess with Steve the wildlife photographer would be a close second. Personally I just tend to like the raccoon/animal storylines more in general, although the Larisa and Sandra ones are usually pretty good too.
It’s a toss up for me between Zoey’s kiss and Cloud’s problem. I guess I just love teen romance stories. 😅
@ WilliamPorygon:
Butterfly climbing the cliff is also my favorite.
