This is the first strip of a new story arc featuring Shadow, Sid and Sid’s mother Hazel.
- Rose: Cool, Daddy, you brought food!
- Rocky: And it’s all fresh!
- Shadow: Sid is not for eating. He’s our guest this evening.
- Rocky: Aww…
- Rocky: Hey, why do you look so weird?
- Sid: I’m a European squirrel.
- Rocky: Really? What are you doin’ here then?! Tell me!
- Sid: Well, all right…

another good arc start, and very different from the previous “kiss”one. together with the Mondrian one, shows Sandra and Woo is one of the most versatile strips around. Well done

I think I’m going to like this arc. I’ve always liked the by-play between Sid and Shadow.
Since foxes are carnivores who will also eat fruits (and veggies?), I’m assuming Shadow’s
providing vegetarian food as a concession to Sid’s attendance. Yes? Truly a gentleman, as @rabid fox said. Hopefully we’ll get to meet Mrs. Shadow as well!
Rodents get into everything. Sid could have gotten into a soldier’s duffle bag or footlocker in pursuit of a Snicker’s bar. Then wound up a stowaway on a flight to the US. Saw a few squirrels while in the BRD.
Love those kits in the story.

Sid:Well it all started in 1679 -1 hour later- and thats when I got here oh and you shouldve heard about the run in at 7-11 oh boy it went like this,

Rocky: ……..
-1 hour later-
Sid: What did you think huh?
Rocky: ……..
Sid: What is it? rocky…..Rocky…..ROCKY!!!!!
Rocky: …..Snore…..
Sid: -_- *facepalm*
I was just looking at past strips, and I saw the ones with puns on Woo’s name. That reminded me that Ric Flair, the greatest pro wrestler that ever lived, used to shout “woo!” as one of the things that marked his personna. I wonder what Woo would think of that?

Yeah, the kits are really cute. I do find it interesting that apparently the male kit is abit more “outgoing” than the female one. Sure they both assume that Sid is dinner, but the male one is the first to actually try and bit him and then immediately starts to ask personal questions as soon as he is told not to do so.
It seems he may have gotten lost somewhere…
It also seems the Comic Crossover Wars have commenced once more…

Also, I don’t remember the numbers right now, but I think fox kits are supposed to be slightly larger than adult squirrels? Or are they just really, really young?(which is a possibility since neither of them appears tagged in the last strip we saw Shadow with kits in – hence these are from another litter)

Um…in the fourth comment, where Woo is holding a “LOOK” sign pointing to a blue panel…is there supposed to be something there? I don’t get it.
I think there’s supposed to be an ad’ there.
