Go Cloud!
Who’s the weakling now, Roq?
something about this scene tells me woo can’t be the only talking animal
Cloud impressed me alot. Way to go, kid =)
I wish my boyfriend could do that
HOLY $%#@ now that IS a special attack, Chuck Norris IS proud, and so am I. My hats of to Cloud for saving the day!
TT__TT
That is all.
Ooh, impresive, Cloud.
Aww, but don’t hurt the poor wolf, sure it tryed to attack him, but still…
He’s just threatening the wolf? You should take that thing as a trophy, Cloud – with a real wolf-pelt cloak you would have truly come of age into a warrior-state of peerless glory. Mom would be so proud.
I’ve heard the phrase before but i wonder.. what IS false/untrue about a ‘false move’?
Hoorah Cloud!
player “cloud” is dominating “wolf”
and thats why you dont attack someone named cloud when he has anything resembling an object with a sharpened edge 😉 not even if its *just* a kid 😛
Pretty clever.. assuming the wolf understands what is being said
The question now is, what will Roq do? Retreat or resist?
You added scars on Roq’s eye when they weren’t there in the previous panels.
how many special attacks does cloud have?
And now we arrive at the next teaching of master Ye Thuza… “When the right time presents to you… kick #$&%.”
Great page, very well composed, amazing action sequence.
Looks like Roq is about to get some of that “Surprisingly painful pain” cloud spoke of! 🙂
As for why he’s reasoning with the wolf: I think he didn’t buy Sandra’s hasty “talking raccoon” explanation, and now knows Woo’s secret. Therefore, he deduces, other animals must be the same…
Elements use harsh weather on Cloud, Sandra, Larisa, Woo.
Woo- 60 HP.
Sandra- 60 HP.
Larisa- 60 HP.
Cloud- 60 HP.
Woo- 60 HP
Roq uses bite!
– Woo- 1 HP
Woo switches out.
Cloud comes to the rescue!
————- Cloud- 60 HP.
Cloud uses Phone throw!
——————- Roq 87- HP.
Roq uses charge! it misses!
Cloud uses tree jump.
– Roq 1- HP.
@ Random:
Of course, Woo scratched him on the last page. On the first panel if you look closely you can even see the word “scratch” written in small letters above Roq’s head.
@ Draco Blair:
It does… It always does…
Haww yeagh!
Wait, what happened to Roq’s eye?
You know those knives are notoriously dull.
I had a feeling Roq was injured, but I thought he just ignored the scratch and bit into Woo’s leg.
Wait a minute! Why is Woo getting hurted up so bad in this arc? Is it some sort of divine retribution for the original Cookie Punch? Is it because he ate that insufferably infuriating bird? Is it because he jay walked once? Why?!
Now THAT’S what I call a special move.
~Leptictidium, everyone’s favorite “graceful weasel”
@ Random:
I think it’s Woo who done that in the last strip.
Quick Cloud! Use your Taming Wand to capture Roq and make him your pet!
it’s cool and all but….why is he talking like the wolf could understand him???, I mean, at least, Roq would try something to get off from cloud….anyway..the boy rlly something
@ trebthegamer:
Over 9000!
Hmm nice strip. The physics nerd in me has to point out though that in the action panel could would actually land behind the charging wolf according to the way it’s positioned, giving the wolf time to turn and attack. Technically the wolf should be a couple feet behind it’s current position in order for the attack to work as depicted.
That aside it’s still well done and enjoyable =)
@ Kilua:
*cloud would not “could would” … darn typos heh
@ Gabrielsthoughts:
Have you SEEN what he can do with a plastic knife!? Quite frankly, him with that knife should count as a weapon of mass destruction! I’d HATE to see what he could do with a SHARP knife!
…Well, actually, I would love to see that, but still
Go Cloud!!!
Pocket knives are awesome.
wonder if a butterfly knife is legal where i am? that is a cool knife.
@ Ellert:
@ JA_of_MN:
As another people “said” before, Woo did that in the previous comic. Just look the 1st pannel and see the “not effective” Woo’s attack – also very pointed by comments.
And that IS, indeed, a special attack.
This, or Colud’s mon made him pratice some “parkour” after playing Mirror’s Edge so much. =3
I’ve had a few dogs and that was a very good way to subdue a dog (or wolf). Another is to grab it by the throat (but you need a strong arm to hold them that way).
Well, looks like the Hit-boy jump training now finally pays off!
Ye Thuza sure knows her stuff.

Over ninethousaaand!!! *crushes glasses* …aww crap…
@ Someone:
Oops, I forgot these trainings!
Mirror’s Edge was the VERY FIRST THING that came in my mind when Cloud used the tree for his special move. Brink too, but Mirror’s Edge first. Not to mention that Fate (Main and playable character in the game) is asiatic. So…
It’s still over nine thousand.
Ye Thuza, what have you done?
Or Cloud will do that. This arc has been a nice show of his not-sword awesomeness capacities. Impressive.
Cloud is officially a boss.
@ brett:
All so many months of story plot to remember…
I do remember that Sandra was surprised when Woo spoke. But, did they ever let Cloud in on that??? I’m thinking so. But…
And, I am on shaky ground, remembering if anyone heard the others talking, along the way.
Which leads me to no uncertain conclusions on if Cloud just said that or if he expected it to be understood.
As for Cloud’s fighting technique…blew me away. It’s like when everyone expected “old Yoda” to barely move. Then, he’s doing back flips and flying through the air, without warning. Yea…that epic.
go cloud XD your awesome, can’t wait for more!!!
@ Kelsey:
Often attacked by wolves, hu? 😉
…. umm, why is Cloud talking to the wolf? Does he honestly believe it can understand him? I mean, the only (supposedly) talking animal is Woo, and only Sandra even knows that, if anything Cloud should be worried that that wolf will not even understand what a knife is and try to bite him.
Holy crap, Cloud. I’d forgotten how badassed he could be.
You know your boyfriend is epic when he can single-handedly take down a wolf in a matter of seconds, in grade school.
It isn’t about the “dog” understanding the words. In this case, the “Tone of Voice” is what is important.
hehe.. time for woo to shuffle by and snicker a “told you so” at roq….
still hoping that no wolves are hurt in the making of this comic 😉 roq just needs his pack status readjusted (so does that now make cloud the new alpha? 😉 )
