Fanart contest – Additional time

The entries for the Sandra and Woo and Gaia fanart contest are rolling in. In fact, I received more pictures today than during the first 29 days of April. I’m not sure if I made it clear enough that this isn’t an eBay auction where the last bidder wins ;). Anyway, given this chronological distribution, some contestants might need an additional day to finish their piece. So I will judge all entries that are in my inbox when getting home from work on Wednesday, 18:00 CET, 2 May 2012.

Even with the additional time, my attempt fell flat. I thought I had a new style to try, but nope. It just didn’t work out.
But ah well. I’ll keep the idea around, keep practicing, and maybe try again if there’s another contest.
I just came up with an idea for fan art, checked the site to see how much longer I had, and apparently I’m too late. I still intend to make this picture, so I guess I’ll just go without a deadline or contest motivation(I wanted to do this idea even without that motivation). I have a feeling I might see something similar in the entries, but if not, I’ll work on this idea in my free time.
