- Sandra: Oh well, maybe it’s enough for a C-.
- History teacher: You spelled your name wrong.
- Sandra: But I’d be happy with an F+.

Sandra,, don’t you know, if you didn’t learn from history, you’ll have to repeat it.
Looks she has a….
*puts on sunglasses*
Grade A name…
@ Cyberohero:
.. That can be seen both ways.. o,o
I was about to say, just scream : “Pen of Omens, give me sight beyond sight!”…too late for that..
That’s me after every math test 😛
Oh well, cheer up, Sandra! It’s all behind you now! Now you can focus on more fun things! Like Cloud!
I am having SO many bad flashbacks from my school days right now…
Even though she misspelled her name, at least she knows her name. True story from my graduate school/undergrad teaching days. One day 1/3rd of my class was absent so I gave a pop attendance quiz as a bonus to those who made it to class:
1. What is your name?
2. What chapter are we on (shouting out the chapter)?
3. It’s bright and sunny outside. What’s the weather
and so on.
I got three quizzes back with the same answer for number 1. No, seriously. Apparently, two students slipped in during the middle of the quiz and instead of asking what the Q’s were from their buddy, they simply copied his answers.
Don’t worry, Sandar, we all make mistakes like that.
The question is what kind of exam is that? multiple answers? True or False? essay? short questions? Because she still have a chance if it’s multiple answers type exam or true or false.
@ AckAckAck:
I hope it’s not fill-in-the-blank, those were always the ones I hated most. For essays, you can always make something up, and mutliple choice you have a good sporting chance, but when you have to insert one specific word, and all other words are wrong, and you don’t have a bank of words to choose from, it’s just a nightmare.
Sandra, I feel your pain…
it is impossible to misspell your own name if you spell it differntly then that is the way you want it to be at the current moment in time becuase it is your name and you can do say it our spell it our change it however you wish(as long as you’re not doing that on a legal document like a bank loan or some such thing)
Not that it has much (if anything) to do with this particular comic, but anyway . . . I have a copy of a high school history textbook, The Wrong History of Great Britain. Yep, the Wrong History, written/edited by a Dr. Wrong. Makes me wonder, how many Wrongs are out there? They always spell their name Wrong. Whatever they do or say, they’re always Wrong. Then there’s the pronouncements from on high from their teachers= Wrong is Right!.
@ Big Kitty:
I always had Sowelu rune drawn on my desk… It represents Sun and the “Eye that has seen all what was and will be”… (Eye Odin sacrificied to drink from pool of water beneth the world tree to gain all knowledge)
I never found it particulary helpfull… then again, he may have probably more important things to do than help me with something I was capable of doing by own powers and was too lazy to do…
And then there’s the other side of the coin: OMG I failed! What?!! 100%?! WTF WIN!!!
Let’s see name typos: Sanded, Sandead, Sander, Nasdra, ardnaS
@ Crestlinger:
SanDead is the name that she must be thinking after the test…..

SUNDR AN WUH!!!!!!
Guess you should just stick to maths for now, Sandra.
You’re doing it wrong, Wanda. If you misspell your name, misspell is such that the exam cannot be traced back to you anymore. Duh.
@ Paeris Kiran:
I draw a kitten under my name on all my test papers for good luck. So far, it’s worked for me 😀
@ Big Kitty:
I do not believe in luck… I relly on it but I do not believe…
OH NO… I’ve caught up… What was I thinking?
AWWW Now I have to wait for each strip like everybody else!!! D:
WHY!?!?!?
How do know that? Maybe I only spelled my name that way before because I knew that’s what you called out for attendance! Who says my name isn’t Snadran Roth?!
Wow Sandra. You normally do so well in school. Why are you so stressed out that you not only failed to finish the test but also spelled your name wrong? XD Oh well, in the end, it will either be a B- or above, or an A+, as most comics show.
“How did I get a ‘Q’ on an A-F grading scale?!”
@ Cyberohero:
It’s been 4 years since this comment was posted, but the joke is too god not to acknowledge it. 🙄
Now back to rereading.
