Briefing? It’s a conspiracy! They’re all in on it! *puts on tinfoil hat and hides under bed*.
When a bunch of Sandra & Woo fans decide to record a heavy metal tribute album, the last panel can be the album cover.
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
I think the first panel in the second row works well too.
Butterfly: But before we go any further, who’s top scavenger?
Vulture: Ah, *gulp*…
Butterfly: Come on! Say it nice and loud so that everyone can hear…!
Well, position in the food chain never ceases to be important. >:=)>
It’s nice to see this side of Butterfly. She’s loyal to Mori even though she thinks he will eat her if she falls. The character development is great.
Methinks Woo’s pep talk gave Butterfly more of a confidence boost than he thought – not only is she tackling the climb better than she expected, she’s about to beat the tar out of a vulture. 🙂
Ooooooooooooooooh shit!!!!!!!!! Hell yhea butterfly you show him!
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
Yhea that would be a cool cover. I may draw my Heroine (female hero not the drug) fighting the main villain like that. Please excuse my language in my previous comment I just got over excited.
Go Butterfly Gooooo!
I wish I could draw that good 🙂
Mori better not eat butterfly if she falls, otherwise he’ll have a guilty conscience. >w<
@ Luke: yes! It’s the birds, first the bird in Gaia that watched Lillth fall and now the vulture 0.0
*puts on tin foil hat* what are the birds planning
Lol;for some reason I have a feeling the mission briefing will be explained later.
Learn not to make some too upset.
Single-handedly the most badass thing I’ve seen all day would have to be this particular comic strip.
This should be remade into a movie, “No Country for Old Vultures”, 10/10, would watch.
@ Syrup:
Birds it’s always dem birds!
@ Syrup:
It’s finally happening man! Just like <a href="“>Hitchcock predicted! The birds are planning to take over the world!
First they kill of all mammal sympathisers. Then they kill all their natural enemies, such as Humans and Raccoons. And finally they will- *kkkthzzzpft* -end of transmission-
@ MawileCeyvis:
With her rescuing Mori like this, I’m pretty sure Mori will not eat her if she falls.
Lucario wrote:
Yup look’s like Mori would be to scared to take on Butterfly after this. (Certainly seem scared in that last frame, and I don’t think that’s scared of a vulture that’s being dangled over a large drop)
The Vulture got cultured so hard he will need suture in near future
Eagle: Note to self, DO NOT try to eat the female raccoon
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
Agreed. Can we get a wallpaper for that last panel? without word panels and with colour maybe?
That’s a great slow burn there at the beginning. Love it.
“Did you know I can crush bones with my bare paws?”
Oh snap!!! In more ways than one.
Wow ; Butterfly is become Super Raccoon ^_^
Loving it! 😀
And yes, that eagle will now be too grateful to eat her even if she should fall and he should feel hungry. And if not too grateful, then he’ll certainly be too scared. (^__^)
That crowd is sure getting a show!
@ MawileCeyvis: I must admit though, I did not see it coming. Good job overall, and I can’t wait for the storyline finale. Because, as much as I like raccoons, I want more of Cloud & Sandra.
*looks at the last panel* I think I know what the next wallpaper is going to be.
This is great. Indeed, it is great.
Hey, if you’re taking requests, a storyline with Shadow would be long overdue.
Details, details… 🙂 🙂 🙂
Well well a raccoon with the potential to KALIMAAAA!!

Well that answered the first question I had about the previous comic, and that answer is “Quite easily.” Questions two and three seem to be rather irrelevant, though…
See, this is pretty much how I get into all my fights: Someone disrespects me, I shrug it off. Someone disrespects MY FRIEND(S)?! It’s bone-crushing time.
Two words: DANG GURL!! @_@
So Woo’s not the only raccoon in this tale who ups the ante on birds (in The Big Adventure, he was picked up by an eagle and taken to its nest with the intention of being food, however, he promptly ate her eggs, so she booted him out instead).
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
i propose using Iron Maidens “Flight of Icarus” as the basework for the song regarding Butterfly
She’s sooooo cool~ <3
I’d count the number of times a bad briefing fucked an operative in the field… except I can’t count to infinity.
Does the fifth frame scare the shit out of anyone else? Anyone?
Ugh… once again we see evidence of the typical and frankly outrageous bias displayed by these mammalian comic creators to their synapsid brethren, wherein not only is what I presume to be a laughably caricatured New World black vulture given an absurd reputation that is repeatedly pandered to despite their significant cognitive lead over similar scavenging animals like raccoons, but their somewhat formidable defensive ability is compromised for sake of a cheap gag. Shame on those who continue to portray raccoons in this light for sake of narrative convenience. Down with this archetypal theriocracy.
Also what kind of eagle could be simultaneously large enough to both catch in mid-flight and then carry an adult raccoon and small enough to be overpowered by a black vulture, a creature specialised to a wholly different and less demanding ecological niche?
God save Thorondor.
Briefing? Hello, assassination plot.
I love the “SET SET SET” sound effect…
but I think it may actually be “SET, GAME and MATCH for Butterfly!”
‘Briefing?’ Now I’m wondering who hired him.
Oh, my, I think I’m in love. Butterfly rocks
don´t make me angry….you won´t like me when i´m angry….oops, wrong comic 😉
-Sir it seems as if the bionic racoon is doing well in its enviorment.
-Good, now how is the meat eating squirrel doing.
-Sir it seems to be restrianing its self from eating certen animals
-Hm,seems to be learning look into that
-soon america will fall to or super animal army!
@ Luke:
Little do they know, he doesn’t wear briefs.
Bad Intel, the bane of every covert op.
Vulture ass kicking, you don’t see that very often.
@ vain:
Soon we will release our legion of animal robots. Zero and X will never be able to defeat them
Or my name isn’t Sigma wha hahahahahahahaaaaaaa!
With the greatest respect and love for what this comic used to be (and hopefully will be again), please go back to being an adorable and hilarious story about a girl, her raccoon, and her friends. This inane raccoon pop culture and violence against vultures is incomprehensible and unamusing.
Oliver & Powree…
I am liking this story arc! Both story and art. Thank you!
hell hath no furry like a raccoon pissed off beyond reason
