I’m loving the sort of lined shading, really conveys a sense of action and movement!
I agree with the line shading, and love that Lilly got over her case of the yips.
@ Jesse:
But this is Butterfly!
@ Luke:
Waaaaah waaaaah I wanna draw wike dat too!! Waaaah waaah! My comics would wook so coowel.
Sniff sniff. Least I finally got to work on my game today.
Whee! Talk about “sticking your landing”! Go Butterfly!
Well this dangerously looking cliff is nowhere near as dangerous as the tree… LOL =)
This is one case in which i believe i am okay with a cliffhanger.

The tree just got a lot safer, now that Miss “I can crush bones with my bare paws” has left. I’m sure the buzzard thinks so, anyway. Though he might not once Mori gets back… ^_^
WoW Is my comment that horrible?
It’s just a joke.
I hope she reaches the top, but she will probably ALMOST fall off at the very least
The ties are coming together to form the knot.
I never knew that watching a fictional raccoon rock climbing a fictional cliff face could be so engaging before this arc. Go Butterfly! *eats some fictional popcorn*
@ Luke:
Especially the second panel!
These comics with Butterfly climbing the impossible demand training montage music.
The tune from Rocky would suffice.
Wow.
I agree. Especially the second panel here, what with its ‘subpanel’ and the shading on Butterfly even more than with the speed lines, really conveys what’s going on! The difficulty, the physis for lack of a better word. The tension in body and muscles and the combination of technique and sheer power, both physical and mental.
Great job!
Heh, u people who thought Moro would carry her across was WRONG!
DAAAAANG!
It’s so awesome I can’t even think of any puns!
Oh no! The birds are coming in from above! Are they just part of the background, are more vultures closing in or did Butterfly ask Mori to fetch some of his friends?
And yes, Powrees action panels are looking awesome as always.
@ Autoskip:
I meant Butterfly. I had a brain cramp.
We’ll all hope she can advance further and that there isn’t a sheer side above that point, as no other animal would know due to nobody making it that far up before.
@ Lestyna: I see want you did there.
YAAAY!! SHE MADE THE JUMP!! WOOOOOOO!! Oh crap I’m turning into the main character. :\
Wait… O_O
THAT WAS THE TINY TARGET SHE HAD TO GRAB!?!
By the raccoonity I knew it was hard but not THAT hard.
suddently her earlier fears seem justified!
@ Mercury:
World’s best climber. Though the only reason she was scared was because supposedly because she was on her last fall or something with her eagle friend. seeing what she had to do to stay on that wall… I’d be afraid as well. GO BUTTERFLY
Guess I was wrong about her retirement then.
Shove it buzzard boy. Squirrels might not be able to make that jump, but Butterfly ain’t a squirrel
@ TehTimmah:
I… Am … More …than …just a raccoon Die Vulture!!!
Butterfly Sure has some sharp claws it would be impossible for anyone to climb that rock without nails.
@ DarkKitusne:
That, and she was going to climb in front of fifty-eight thousand six hundred twelve raccoons, and they all expected her to succeed.
That ought to elicit some applause! Wait… can raccoons actually clap?
Xezlec wrote:
Not sure if the can clap but I think they can make a small barking sound. Well don’t believe that’s 100% true as I briefly just saw a little Raccoon Running in an old empty lot.
Lol wonder if he was going to see butterfly too? He did look like he was in a hurry.
But I saw the Raccoon way before I even knew this comic existed. 🙂
I’m wondering how well the crowd can see her. Not seeing any cheering going on, so can they see her from that distance at all?
I certainly would not want for Butterfly to pinch me!
