There are dogs small enough that there would be no risk to Lily, nor to the kits if it was raised by them from a puppy. However, as they live inside a tree and off the ground, the dog would have a hard time getting in and out of the house without someone building them a staircase. A cat might be viable… but a cat would be less biddable, and as a kitten at least would get into just as much trouble as their kits.
This is amazingly accurate.

I think it’s not a matter of having a dog which wouldn’t hurt the kits.
She’s regretting not getting a pet instead of kits. Much less aggravation.

We always taught our kids, if you can climb up there, you need to be able to get yourself down.
And they always would.
Woo really could help out Lily a little bit more. He is never around when his offspring makes trouble.
I always enjoy Sandra and Woo, but it’s not often that a comic actually makes me laugh out loud. 🙂
Also, somewhat reminiscent of a Calvin and Hobbes gag, and yet still fresh and original enough to be new. Awesome!

Ah yes, I remember climbing to the top of a tree once…
and getting down really REALLY fast.
