- Sandy South: The girl was last seen by her father four hours ago.
- Sandy South: According to him, she isn’t the type of girl who’d run away from home. There also haven’t been any domestic disputes recently.
- Sandy South: We therefore have to assume the worst, a crime!
- Sandy South: This is a job for… Sandy South, private eye extraordinaire!
- Qoo: As if the relatives haven’t suffered enough already!

I feel like this won’t be too hard of an investigation.
well, this shouldn’t confuse everyone who knows Sandra or Woo at all!
I did not see this coming I admit.
I wonder if Sandy south will use a compass to find North ? :p
Meanwhile, Richard is in a panic.

Da dumm tzzz
@ Sgt_flyer:
No actually this was funny. Never thought of that
She’s got personalities
Queen

Weird

Finding herself? Sandy South, existential philosopher!
So she’s going to investigate her own disappearance, or what is going on?
@ Sgt_flyer:
Bwahhahahahahah…ack!!
*cough* *cough*
Heh, that was good.
Okay,
1. Is this even following off the previous strip, or is it a completely different story? I.e is the missing girl actually Sandra n or someone else.
2. Given the… loose grip on reality this comic has, is Sandy N and Sandy S really the same person anyway? Or even in the actual main continuity as S and W?
3. Is it coincidence that April 1st s on Saturday?
Yay for hard-boiled Miss South and Qoo
I
Who
What
I suppose searching for her true self is the next thing Sandra is doing…
just realised that sandy SOUTH and sandra NORTH might be different people or sandra might have multiple personality disorder
Okay, clearly we’ve switched from “Under a Killer Moon” to “The Westing Game.”
This is how clone wars begin…
Go get ’em
I guess I… kinda… called it…? Kinda? No? Ok.
Well, I didn’t expect that.
So Sandra N. and Woo the Pawn are pieces in a chess game. Princess Luna Plushie is another chess piece. The characters in today’s strip are hard-boiled noir detectives..
How can the chess game and the Dashiell Hammett trope be brought together into a coherent story line?
Rarity Investigates.
This chess joke has taken a dark and bizarre turn.

1. It’s following the previous strip as indicated by Novil’s question to the reader.
2. It’s the same person and continuity, nothing indicates otherwise.
Next comic: “Eat boogers and die”
@ Vidad:
I think I just vomited a little bit. :/
I give about a 20% chance that Sandy South is actually a different person, after all.

That was a fun book. I really should find that one again one of these days.
I wonder how it would turn out if Tracer Bullet had a case where he had to find Calvin.

I’ve been waiting for this reference since the introduction of Sandrine West.
Not going to lie, I was legit scared for a second or two.
She is in alternate universe 😛 She hid in the closet which is the portal! Thank goodness it doesn’t lead to Narnia.
Oh, wonder what will happen if Woo meets Qoo??
I also love how this story arc’s title is based on an episode (the third) of the Tex Murphy franchise, namely “Under a Killing Moon”. 😀
Ask Yana, Cloud must of done something to upset her, and sending one of your minions to kidnap your brothers girlfriend until he apologises ,is nothing for a potential supervillain (she’s already tried holding his favourite figurine for ransom)
Ok, this comic has officially not lost its power to mess with me. I love that. 🙂
Sigh. Not gonna lie everytime I see the “Detective Noir” style on this strip I realize its time to skip for a couple of weeks until the arc is done. What a shame.
Looking at the first panel, did Sandra really hide from her father for four hours?

I don’t quite agree with your No. 2, the “Sandy South and Qoo” story arcs usually contain much weirder stuff than the “normal” Sandra and Woo comics (except the Divine Comedy arc) that clash with the normal continuity of the story, we have seen Sandy targetted by hostile agents, pursuing a madman who conjures a heathen volcano god and Qoo eating the incarnation of this god, etc. If this was really part of Sandra’s life, she would act much less like a normal highschool kid. I rather think playing private detective Sandy South is Sandra acting out a playful fantasy of being a detective with Woo as her assistant and the comic just shows us what she makes up in her mind.
Where is she? From what I can see she is in her room but her father is not present and the house is empty. Though the character change is normal is the missing other characters could be in reference to the last strip. I guess this could be her form of not panicking and trying to find out what happened, which I guess works. Though one could speculate she locked herself in the closet of that room and watch My little pony for those four missing hours. It just kinda came to her. An offer that she couldn’t refuse.
@ Enochi: Aww don’t skip. I skipped all the MLP ones when I first found SandW but now am revisting them.
Why is anyone worried about Sandra missing for a few hours? Shadow and Sid have been gone for months! 😛
Ten months.
Ten.
@ someguy:
The problem with that is that Woo and every other character don’t act in character of Sandra’s imagination. If what we see is what she’s making up, then she’s making up that Woo is not acting in character. Regardless of weirdness, the Sandy South arcs are not written in a way that resembles being inside Sandra’s mind.
The volcano god thing was sort of a dream and I can’t recall the hostile agents. Also, this comic had a vampire who wanted to take Sandra with him, Sandra accidentally selling her soul to the devil for a lemonade, aliens and a lot of other weird stuff.
Is it me, but Sandra seems to be glaring at the audience. As if to say, “I am NOT A PONY! You jerks! You Bronies need to get your mind out of the gutter. AndI am not an aquertrai girl eather!!”
Welp, my brain just shattered.
I am prepared to eat boogers and die.
SHE WAS THE VICTIM ALL ALONG! SHE SOLVED HER OWN MURDER!
*drama chord*
A butler did it!
