Why “Moment Mal” is in German?
I’m starting to wonder if Novil is baiting people with the random German. The pairing that creepigan is suggesting looks very much like reader bait to me. That or Novil is really stressed or for some other reason out of tune. He did also put up the non existing “19 1069 Otp” strip (only seen by supporters). I just don’t know what’s going on with this arc.

But what is Zoey wearing? It could be just a frilly night shirt and knickers? So it might be a dream after all… Will she wake up and realize that she is attracted by Julia? And there is a chance that Novil has a great ending in storage for Gilligan… A dream world offers a lot of opportunities for doing away with obnoxious creatures like that, including self combustion (or combustion by Larissa). 🙂
I imagine if it is a dream, it ends with Zoey and Julia about to make out and then she wakes up to find Gilligan in her room whispering things into her ear as she sleeps.

Just Kidding, but really, Toph has shown feelings for Sokka, not Aang. He has pretty poor taste if he thinks that Aang/Toph would work.

So here’s my next guess, which I admit is much more speculative this time. I think Zoey has noticed Julia in her waking life and has been angsting over whether to ask her out. “Gilligan” (who may or may not actually exist as a person in her waking life) represents her fears of outing herself (to someone other than Michelle and Larisa), of rejection (as happened with Michelle), or both. When Zoey wakes from this nightmare, she’ll decide whether to go for it and ask Julia out… or not.
The Potter ones are pretty obvious ships (I don’t necessarily agree with Harry/Hermione, though, they would drive each other mad in short order – going by the book, at least) but Aang/Toph would only be a good match for one of them (I’m not entirely sure which one). Clearly Gilligan is not that hot.
So I would encourage Zoey to voice such objections and point out that not only is he wrong but Julia is clearly not as cultured as she would like to believe. So why should Zoey listen to his shipping suggestions (except to make Michelle jealous, of course)?
Aang/Toph? Please, everyone knows Zuko/Toph would be MUCH better
Honestly this guy lost all credibility the moment he said Inuyasha/Kikyo

One, that everyone is supposed to have knowledge of these matters (and as strip demands, of course do). Heck, even I never got into Inuyasha.
Two, shipping has much to do with simple preference. Just because many agree might agree with you, doesn’t make one right. Right, Trumpica? 😉
Three, when ever did Toph show any romantic interest towards Aang? Or much vice versa for that matter? Just because they would have been cute, starting out the same size, doesn’t make them right for each other. Sheesh…

Rowling has commented though that she had considered having Ron die in the battle of Hogwarts and Harry and Hermione being together in the end, but ditched that idea because having Ron die would have been too dark. I guess there still are some traces in the books that she wanted Harry/Hermione as a possible ending, sometimes they seem to have way more chemistry than Hermione and Ron.
And none of these ships are canon, meaning Zoey/Julia is a doomed ship.
