Everything will be fine, Sandy!
Larissa is getting WAY too good at this.
That is so frickin’ clever. Nobody has any business raising complaints about the upcoming story arc after this page happened. You could burn the strip down, and it would be so worth it for the fact that this happened before you did.
That globe looks amazingly like an oversize version of one of the flash bulbs you used with press cameras – the size of 60 watt light bulbs, with an Edison screw base and filled with magnesium wire or foil.
my dad said it was light an explosion going off by your ear.
{The scene in “Die Hard” where the side of the building blows out used all of the bulbs of that type that the special effects crew could round up in Los Angeles mounted on the side of the building to simulate the flash on the people and cars outside the building}
I really wish the next panel was in color!
It is rather cold right now, so go for it.
DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!!!!! Larissa is the best character, a great horrible influence.
We need “Goldberg” in the tags!
Larisa is such a cutie with horns and tail…
What a Rube…
That fire looks easy enough to control, but knowing Lasrisa, she’s got a “few special items” in there.
Resist the temptation, Sandra.
Pitagora Suicchi! (Look it up on YouTube, you won’t be disappointed.)
Very own Larisa (succubus) having a Rube Goldberg like this at home
I won’t lie: I’d break the glass IMMEDIATELY to see if it works.
A nice Rube Goldberg set up by Larisa and a very tempting moment for Sandra.
The only thing that I find off is the sign at the start of the contraption. While I understand what is being done, the contrast/opposition with the sign on the fire alarm pull station, it reads just off to a native English speaker. I took a look at the German version and it reads smoother with the one word change, in English it might read better as “For Fire Break Glass” or alternatively “For Cause of Fire Break Glass”.
So, Larisa, how’s your training going?

Yes. That makes perfect logical sense and is in no way ridiculous.
I couldn’t not do it. I love Rube Goldberg machines.
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it!
I take it from the horns that Larisa did indeed die in aftermath of 1148 and officially started her afterlife with The Devil in 1149. Honestly, I’ve been dreading an inevitable tear-jerker death sequence from her wolfram syndrome. But this, this is fine.

Reality? Yeah, I’ve played that game. The visuals and sounds are fantastic, but the plot stinks.@ AnotherBear:
I get everything except the used condom hanging from the glass ball.
Love the idea, but once the fuse lit, wouldn’t the smoke and resulting fire displace/use up the oxygen in the ball? I don’t see a second hole in it, so there’s nowhere for new oxygen to get in nor for smoke and CO2 to escape.
Unless everything falls out of the ball…
what temptation? what to NOT break the glass pshh i already broke that the second i came in.

It is indeed not easy to translate with the same humorous meaning.
In the German version Larisa says ‘Kom zur hellen seite’, the first part is known in English as a 4-letter word that is related to Larisa. But in the English version it is translated as: ‘Come to the bright side.’ ‘Come to the light side’ might be a better choice of translation. Although it would then have a different humorous meaning as it would be referencing to lighting a fire, her pyromaniac-side. But still not like in the German version that it is an allusion to her succubus-side and her pyromaniac-side as well.@ W in FL:

Don’t know if this is the start of the new arc, but I love this, even if it were a single page.
